The shower room door cannot be closed tightly that it makes the whole bathroom floor filled with water after showering.

Ridiculous check in process. And extremely loud construction in the building. Stay away.

We had a comfortable stay in this hotel and would absolutely return. The hotel is right near a metro station in the heart of Baixa neighborhood. Magda who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

The room had coffee making facilities, a small desk/side table and free wifi. The room did not have an arm/lounge chair or fridge. The hotel was having some renovations to the upper floors. The hotel was very central.

Good water temperature for the shower. Proper air conditioning. Location is amazing since you're in the middle of everything. The only down side is that you have to carry the luggage up one floor and it does get noisy in the evenings and in the morning since the windows are not sound proof.

The hotel is in a great location. Perfect if you don’t need a bunch of amenities, just a clean place to lay your head.

Great location! Right in the heart of the old town, walking distance to everywhere and close to the train station! The place is in an old building and the photos online did not represent our room. The room was one large bed, overall a large comfortable bed, which was nice. But SO CRAMPED! No space to even open our suitcases. And they were doing construction so the hallways were dusty. So the location is great but the room itself wasn't great and felt like a budget hostel. The shower was a little space in the wall with a flimsy door and water got all over the floor even with the door closed. I thought we were getting a good deal but once I got there I felt like the cost was way overpriced for what we got.

We had a great stay at Esquina. Not total experience/amenities of a full hotel, but just enough. Great location to walk to must see spots and public transportation. Despite it being a busy area, it was very quiet and comfortable. Very clean, and service provided things when we needed them. Private bathroom with sink in the main room. No shower curtain on the shower stall made it difficult not to get the whole bathroom floor soaked, but otherwise nice shower. Nice balcony doors to overlook the street. Thanks for the complimentary wine!

It was a great place in a perfect location. It was clean and had most immenities with the exception of a mini fridge. We felt safe and enjoyed our time there.

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The location was perfect. Close to all the main attractions, restaurants, and transportation. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel at home. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The hotel itself was spotless and beautifully renovated, with a fresh, modern feel while still keeping that Lisbon charm. It made my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Super super convenient location. Right in the heart of the city. Nice places to eat around the hotel. Charming rooms - they aren't massive but will fit a few cabin bags. Tip. The street the hotel is on is a one way system. Might be easier to take an uber/taxi from the main road.

This is a decent 3 star at best, not a 4 star by any means. Room was basic, no services and elevator only started from one floor up. I have stayed in many hotels throughout Europe and this one might be equivalent to some 3 star hotels. Don’t think I would stay again, not good value

We booked this room at $200/night because the implication on Orbitz was that it was a four star hotel. It is not a hotel - it is an old building with renovated guest rooms, and the elevator only starts from the 2nd floor (US). Check in was at 3:00 but our train got in at noon. The person said that it would take an hour to get a room ready, but when we returned she made it clear that we were not getting a room until 3:00. We asked if there was a place to sit for a while, but the reception is in the stair well, and there is no common room, so we could not stay. When we later arrived in our room we discovered that the bathroom was not a separately enclosed space. There was a sink with a frosted glass door to a toilet stall on one side and a similar door into the shower stall on the other side, such that it opened directly into the room. The shower also had two shower heads and a large mirror, but the room itself had no mirror except over the sink. We found this an unusual design choice. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable. The wifi worked fine. There were a couple of pastries for us. The location was excellent for the tourist center- that is clearly what one is paying for. Our main complaint is that we felt mislead as to the nature of the accommodations and would not have chosen to pay $200 for a guest room.

Amazing location, this hotel exceeded our expectations massively! The room was huge and the beds we very comfy. The staff were all really friendly and it was a 12pm check out as standard which we appreciated.
