The hotel never even notified us that the ENTIRE 12th floor was closed which is where the whole action is . Also the room was not properly cleaned as far as the tub and carpeting was dirty. Over all terrible experience since we been there 5 times already.

So everything was XLNT

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel this year one week each time. The hotel is a great location 10 minutes from the historic center… the staff is really incredible!! You can sense that the people are happy working here and are very proud of what they do. Gabriela at the front desk is very friendly and welcoming… Clara and Shirley and Yulieta in the restaurant are equally very attentive to every guest and everyone makes an attempt to learn your name, which is nice. The breakfast buffet is excellent and Andrea makes a wonderful omelette. Five stars.

Amazing property with great amenities

Very comfortable stay! Great amenities in the hotel including the gym, infinity pool which had beautiful ocean view. Our room also had a beautiful ocean view. Food was delicious always. Lots of options. Great area across from the beach. Next to the mall. A 20 min walk to the walled city, Just have to be careful with cars.

The hotel was extremely nice and the staff even nicer. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting!!

We have a fabulous stay at Hyatt Regency Cartagena. Hotel is very clean, has a great location close to shopping centers, stores and only like 10 minutes away from the Wall City. Everybody was very nice and attentive, Marcelo helps us get to our room and made great recommendations that help us with our stay. We loved having breakfast at the buffet, everything was delicious and Yulieth and Nimia always welcomed us with a great smile and was always a pleasure talking to them. We also have dinner at Kokau, everything was delicious as well. Our server Luis Miguel was amazing every recommendation he made was spot on. We have a great experience, we will be back soon!!

Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Their customer service was excellent and the breakfast buffet, wonderful! We were served by Clara several times and she was amazing! I have already recommended it to my friends, and we’ll definitely go back again.

We had a lovely stay and would definitely return. The hotel was kept clean and well-maintained around the clock. The front desk staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and gave a full breakdown of what to expect during our stay. Check-in did take about 30–45 minutes, even with a short line, but they made sure we were fully informed. One thing to note: depending on which tower you’re in, you’ll need to take one elevator, get off, and switch to another set to reach your room. Slight inconvenience, but manageable. The pool area was clean and peaceful, and service there was much faster than the restaurant. The restaurant at night was the one downside—service was consistently slow even though it wasn’t busy. Still, the buffet food was on point, savory, and really pleasing to the palate. The gym had a gorgeous view with floor-to-ceiling windows, but getting in was a little confusing at first with the key card. Once inside, it was solid—machines were decent and the space was clean. Our room had a beautiful bay view and a spacious living area. It was quiet, relaxed, and felt very adult-friendly. Hardly any kids, and the few we saw weren’t loud. One night, a rowdy group by the pool got too loud, but security stepped in and handled it right away. All in all, a really pleasant stay with kind guests, clean spaces, and a calm atmosphere. Would absolutely stay again.

This Hotel was 5 stars all the way ! Once,you walk thru the doors.You were politely greeted by Everyone. The front desk,the bell hop(Manuel),& security. It felt like you were staying with distant family from another country. Taxis were always available right outside the hotel.There was a 4 story mall right next door. A bank and ATM machines on the 1st floor.(with security standing by the ATM machines)And,a awesome food court on the 4th floor. Manuel,was a great help.He left a list on our desk. recommending restaurants.Places to visit. Areas to stay away from.Even housekeeping were so genuinely polite. My wife was speaking to her.and,she mentioned that she loves Mangoes.And,the very next day.there was a small basket filled with Mangoes ! I've stayed at numerous hotels(here and abroad).And, By far. The Hyatt Regency made my vacation feel like we were royality ! We will definitely be repeat customers !

Staff was very friendly, place was extremely clean, the views from the room and the pool were amazing! Only issue we had was the key kept giving out, don’t put your key next to your phone! Or you will find yourself going to the 1st floor to get it recharged!

The stay was amazing ! The hotel rooms facing the bay or the ocean are fantastic ! Rooms are of good size and the food is out of this world ! Very friendly staff ! I enjoyed my stay thoroughly ! Highly recommend ! Special call out to Yercelis, Natalia, Kaitlyne, Katiusca and Fernanda ! You guys were FANTASTIC !!

The property was nice and check in was very easy. The room was very clean, spacious and the bathroom set up was cool. There was a bar at the pool but it’s probably better to get liquor elsewhere depending on your preference. There were a lot of people trying to sell you a lot of tourists things outside the hotel constantly no matter if they seen you a million times but then you realize it’s they’re bread and butter and you want to purchase something at least. All in all the hotel was nice and the stay was not bad at all.

Great place to stay. The Club rooms were great, higher view and breakfast included was delicious. Kimia greated us every morning for breakfast and our check-in with Genesis was easy and seem less. I’ll definitely be back to stay here again. Oohhh, I must mention the 2 and half hour spa treatment was one of the best I’ve ever had. No complaints from ya’ girl, west-side Chitown born & raised!
