The room and bathroom are generous size, the carpeting is very dirty with many stains. The staff was not friendly and the area surrounding the hotel was bleak with no one is light in the being. I would not recommend this hotel. I had a second booking which I canceled.

It was quiet and near the moat.

Staff terribly nice and attentive; but communication in English was somewhat challenging; not their fault; management should stress staff training a bit more!

Good clean hotel for short stay for an I dividual. But not for travelling with friends or family due to see through shower wall.

Modern hotel, well maintained with excellent friendly staff. Close to railway station. Scenic restaurant on the top floor overlooking the city. Breakfast not too specia, good selection but served cold — buffet style. Eggs cooked to order. Good place to eat dinner. Good choice hotel.

Bad choice over all. Can’t fault the staff - friendly helpful, over attentive but language barrier was a massive issue. Breakfast was soso, very basic hot food was cold, fresh squeezed juices warm. Room could have been cleaner, lots of dust and hair etc along walls behind bathroom door and below blinds. No help available for tourists, no brochures or info available. Hotel presents well on website but it’s poorly located. Step outside and you’re met with filth, foul smells, beggars and squalor. We booked 3 nights but spent almost 2 full days in our room watching tv counting the hours before we could leave to catch our rescheduled flight, couldn’t wait to get out of there. Bitterly disappointed

Nice staff, Good location, Friendly staff, another good hotel to recommend

We had to wait over an hour in reception for our room to be ready. The room however was wonderful and the bathroom the best we had in Myanmar, really comfortable, modern and clean with loads of space. Beds were especially comfortable. Downside was the location, on a really noisy busy road which was a shame as modern as the hotel is, it would benefit from triple/double glazing. Bit of a trek walking to Mandalay Palace and Hill. The staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable on the surrounding location they had no maps or info to impart.

Nice boutique hotel. Location surrounding has nothing interesting but is a nice hotel for a night stay to explore mandalay.

Best hotel in mandalay

We get the hotel about lunch time, very friendly staff always saying "Mingalarbar with beautiful smile". Room is clean and good location. We can see the entire city. Served variety of food for breakfast in 8th floor. Everything is cleaned and nice. I'll stay there again.

This hotel was very nice, it is located right in the centre of Mandalay in a tall building. The interior design looked very modern and fresh. The level of cleanliness was very high. I can especially recommend the breakfast here, as it was not only delicious with many options to choose from both local and international, but it is served in a room with a great panoramic view of the city life around. All the members of the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

An extremely good hotel at a very reasonable price. It is new and in many respects equals 5 star hotels in Burma. Do not be concerned at the very plain entrance on the street level. From the first floor reception onwards it is dramatically different. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The restaurant food is as good as any 5 star hotel in the country.

Much better than expected for price and the type of room in the area...

I booked the Link 78 Hotel for 2 nights, it was my first time in Mandalay. The hotel staffs are are really nice and friendly. The room (deluxe) is really nice, combined with a good design in modern style. The bath room is so large (if you compare with the room size with the other boutique hotels)
