If you want a good location and do not care about sunlight, lugging your belongings up flights of narrow stairwells, an unexplained putrid smell, cheap springy mattresses, lack of bathroom shelves, dark surroundings, views of bricks walls (not the advertised park), a non-responsive host (we blew a kitchen fuse by operating the toaster at the same time the lights were on!), questionable art & dark moody wall colours then this place might just be for you!!
We picked Hux because of its proximity to groceries & museums & park but it lacked necessities to make a salad (no large bowls) & slice bread (no bread knife) - so we just made eggs & blew a fuse toasting bread:/
We should have left before reception walked our luggage up to the flat. After a few days, the smell actually made us feel sick to our stomachs & gave us headaches, so we slid our belongings down the long narrow stairwell and made our escape!
Staying across the street at the Royal Garden Hotel was the answer - plenty of lifts, exceptional breakfast buffet included, beautiful views of the park and sunlight (no weird noxious smell)
Beware of these small "boutique" hotels. Unfortunately, the pictures did not match the advertisement and you cannot account for toxic smells until you arrive:(
