The property is really nice and the view is outstanding. The only slight issue was finding the place where I had to pick up the keys. Google maps showed me the back of the place not the front and I wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for some helpful locals. Once I found the guy who had the keys.... No problems whatsoever

This was a lovely place to stay - beautiful views and sparkling clean. Yes, it is at the top of a lot of steps but worth the climb. The biggest downside is having to go and collect the key from another location - a lock box or keyless entry would be so much easier.

The house is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in; I can only imagine being able to live in a house with such a beautiful view over the city and the sea! Day or night, the view from inside the house over the city is breath-taking, and the inside is very stylishly crafted as well. It is a hike to get up to the house up multiple sets of stairs, but that is what gives you such an incredible perch over the city below. Its conveniently located at the start of the Temple Walk, where you can travel up and down paths going through the unique town and appreciate different architecture, temples, and the interesting layout of a city built into the hillside. It was a beautiful experience, with only one issue: finding the place to pick up the key was a struggle because it is not labeled correctly on this website. The place is actually called "Mai Pen Rai" not "Lai," but if you type in the address without the incorrect name onto AppleMaps, you can find the place. Besides this one small issue, it was absolutely worth the journey. Great place if you want to explore this beautiful town and ride the Shimanami Kaido.

This beautiful house is perched on a hill. This means stairs, stairs and stairs. Be prepared to haul your luggage up at least 8-10 flights of stairs. Once you get there, you might want to just settle into this comfortable nest and not go down the hill for the rest of your stay. Needs WIFi!!! Washing machine, a few more hangers and maybe a table in the kitchen would make this place almost perfect (if not for the stairs!). Beds are rather uncomfortable. I can feel the wooden slats thru my futon. Ended up sleeping on the fold out couch and my companion used the floor. Also, check in would be much better with a lock box at the house instead of going to a different place that is not correctly marked or spelled on google maps. Thankfully the woman who answered the door was very friendly. Almost, would be great if porter service can be offered as optional expense.

尾道観光に利用させてもらいました。 清潔感と風情のある宿で、窓一面に尾道の風景が広がり、素晴らしい解放感でした。 結構な坂を上がった所にあるという点と古民家をリノベーションした別荘という特性上セキュリティは万全、というわけではないですが、そこを承知の上であればとても魅力的なお宿だと思います。 私はとても好きでした。 坂の上で、お店がすぐ近くにないので、お買い物は全部済ませてからチェックインするのが良いと思います。 また尾道に行く時にはぜひ宿泊したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

大きな窓から見える尾道の水景、朝焼けには感動しました！市街地にも、千光寺や市立美術館にも石段を降りたら登ったりして徒歩圏内なので、立地も申し分なしです。尾道に行くことがあれば必ずまた泊まりたいです！

古家を改良しているので、セキュリティとしてはやや不安はありますが、内装は清潔感もあり、雰囲気も良く仕上がっている。眺望は尾道の街、海を見渡せる素晴らしいものでした。

かつての庵を素敵にリノベーションした、和風の一軒家です。 高台から望む尾道の町と瀬戸内海の素晴らしい風景や往時の気分が味わえる、素晴らしい宿でした。家族で泊まったので、一軒家で自由に滞在できるのも良かったです。200段の階段は確かに大変でしたが、それこそ尾道らしさを体感できたと思います。 一点だけ・・・滞在中にゴキブリが出たのはちょっと衝撃的でした。宿自体はとても清潔で気持ちが良く、隠れ家風な佇まいが魅力でしたので、離れ家の必然でしょうか・・・

眺めが良くて最高でした！

本当に素晴らしいロケーションでした。(階段を上った甲斐があったと思えます！) ゆ～ったり、窓から尾道水道の眺めを堪能でき、連れが「最高だ！」と、とにかく喜んでいました。 鍵を借りる時「困った事があれば、電話してください」と言われていたので、門の鍵で困って電話をしたら、すぐ駆け付けてくれました。親切な対応に感謝です。

静かでとても良い時間が過ごせました。

眺めが最高。 行くのが大変。階段200段。

整體來說很不錯，雖然要走一大段梯級才到，但每級不高，走起來還算輕鬆。而且因為位處較高，風景也美。要到「貓之細道」很近、很方便。 不過和式房間並不是獨立的房間，要經過這裡才可以進廁所、廚房及洋式房間。 另外即將入住的旅客也可以小心抽水馬桶，如果沖水的力度及時間拿捏得不好，廁內的水有可能向上彈起。

坂の上の一軒家。階段を上るのはしんどかったですがその分最高のロケーション感動ものです。また来たいと思わせてくれる景色でした。 坂をあがることを考えると下での買い物が重要だと思います。準備忘れずに
