This 12-room hotel is located very centrally in Beauvais. Our room was small but sufficient for our overnight transit stop. Staff were courteous and friendly. We were a little cold as we couldn’t work out how to turn on the radiator. If it was central heating it was turned off. I don’t think there was aircon but we didn’t need it for our late September stay. We didn’t take breakfast at the hotel.

I was only in Beauvais for one day and it's a lovely little town north of Paris, complete with giant (taller than Notre Dame) cathedral and parks and plazas. The staff was incredibly helpful and really enjoyed his service. The big thing was the lack of AC and the room not cooling down with the bedside AC/fan. I know that's part of the European experience, it just made it harder to get some sleep. There was some outside noise from a band playing music, but I rather enjoyed that! The hotel is located incredibly close to lots of shops and restaurants and the cathedral and town square. I'd definitely come back to Beauvais AND Hotel de la Cathedrale, it may just be in the fall!

Lovely staff, comfortable & quiet rooms, wonderful area. No complaints here! Parking is limited outside, however, I managed to get a spot right outside and due to the time of day did not have to pay, if you aren’t able to get a spot there is a safe underground car park a 5-minute walk away.

Hotel is smack downtown, but not much to do or visit..hotel is missing air conditioning and a mini fridge.

Good hotel and convenient for centre and cathedral

Our double room was cozy but but very comfortable and the bathroom was new and modern. Much nicer than the photographs indicate. Our host was jolly and the decorations throughout were fun.

A very well situated hotel with very clean bed, room and shower. The private parking is a bonus and the breakfast was very fresh and of good value.

This was an excellent choice of hotel for a short break in Beauvais as it was located right in the centre of the city very close to the cathedral. It was easy to access by car and offered a limited number of secure off-road parking spaces. Beauvais is a good centre for visiting Monet’s garden and Compiiegne.

Good basic hotel in a prime location. Wonderfully helpful proprietor who offered us on site parking, a major bonus in Beauvais.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting a good restaurant in the town. Room very clean and modern. Plenty of food for the continental breakfast. No lift but I think it was only 2 floors for the rooms.

We stayed here in May 2016 and thought it was excellent. Just over a year on we return to and it remains excellent! We are travelling with our bikes on a cycling holiday and the hotel kindly store our bikes safely in their garage with no hassle. The hotel is ideally situated near to the Cathedral and shops and restaurants. It's safe, with key cards for entry into the main (locked) entrance. It has a great bar and does simple tasty breakfasts (hot drinks, selection of breads, yogurts, fresh fruit). The stair ways and public areas are excellently maintained looking like they are regularly freshened up with a lick of paint etc. Not a scrap of dust or rubbish anywhere! The rooms are a reasonable size and amazingly clean! Good amount of simple wardrobe hanging. Comfy bed. Shutters to windows. Upright fan. Shower and basin in large spotless bathroom with hair dryer and toiletries. Honestly I can't rate it highly enough. Cleanliness is really important to me and this place is spotless. Very friendly welcoming staff too. Outdoor seating in courtyard garden too. Don't hesitate! Book!
