Fine for what it was - a two-star hotel with the basics for a night or two. Rooms are small but decently clean. Make sure to check-in online 48 hours in advance as no-one is at the front desk after 3pm.

It was perfect for a weekend trip for 2! If you are a light sleeper this may not be best for you, but me and my partner enjoyed staying here!

Nice spot in the middle of the city! Easy access to the main train station and other essential spots!

I wish I would have read the reviews before booking. Absolutely terrible place to stay, no where did it mention shared bathrooms, or no check in after 3pm… to top it off the place was filthy and the bed was nothing more than an old mattress with a small pillow which made for a bad nights sleep. Be Warned!!

Reasonable for a cheap option if traveling alone. Small room with a twin bed with wash basin and that’s it . Had to share toilet and shower located in the same floor. Room was clean. Provided with enough towels. If you are traveling alone then this an option for a place to just sleep at night. Area is located close to the train station and a bargain place to stay.

Did not manage to check in as no one at reception , same thing occured to another guests arriving at 6pm

The hotel is well located for convenience to the train and bus connections, and to shops. Also, only a ten minute walk across the river is the Old Town, with its steep hills, cobbled stone streets, quaint cafes and historic landmarks. The lake front is also not far. A plus was the included free public transportation pass provided and downloadable on my mobile. My stay was short, so I used it only to go to the airport. I was quite satisfied with the hotel, as my stay was for one night in preparation for the flight home. The convenient location gave me plenty of time to have a relaxing afternoon and evening, including a beer by the lake and a nice dinner in Old Town, before returning to the hotel to sleep. The bed was comfortable, the linens good, and, with the windows open, the air was cool enough. Now, be advised, the rooms are small and old. Mine had a sink, but the toilet and shower are in the hall and shared with residents of other rooms. There is no breakfast or other food service in the hotel, and there is no electric kettle, microwave or fridge in the room. The t.v. in the room is small and mounted near the ceiling. This is not a hotel where you will want to spend much time other than sleeping. It was clean enough, but it is old, and not in a quaint way. The manager was friendly, efficient and helpful. I would stay there again under similar circumstances.

Delayed due to train evacuation in Lyon and missed the check in time 12-15:00! NO good facility would do such a thing. MANY people around town agree this place is a total scam! SAVE YOURSELF AND STAY ELSEWHERE IS SUISSE!!!! HORRIBLE!

Only liked the location. Requested for a double room and got the room number weeks before the day but upon arrival the room was a single bed. Counter personnel was nice and asked if we wanted an additional room instead, but we didn’t want to and had a mattess instead. Pillow was too soft. a very uncomfortable night but I guess for one night the location is most important and this did the job.

Worst stay I’ve ever had in Europe!!! Unreal . Upon arrival my room was taken by a couple of girls. After some discussion I persuaded them to leave. The morning after my bed was filled with bed bugs and blood stains. My body was covered with hundreds of bites… Stay away from this hotel!!! It’s a CATASTROPHE

Does the job - near the main train station and comfortable single bed. Only thing is that the walls are thin - the next room’s TV wasn’t loud but you could hear it very clearly at night when you are trying to sleep, so bring earplugs. Other than that, the room was fine.

City centre location and good price. But it's shabby and on a noisy street. Need to close windows to keep noise out, but got hot. No a/c.

Community bathrooms and showers... I rest my case.

The bathroom was out side of the room but it was clean. This is really convenient to shopping restaurants and transportation.

Good location. Friendly staff. Nice clean small rooms. Breakfast was a continental and basic. I would definitely recommend as long as you are happy to share bathroom and toilet facilities.

The location is easy to reach from the Central Cornavin Hotel, staff and breakfast are nice, however no fruits or veggies there. Bare in mind there are nodisposable toothpaste, shampoo, toothbrash, slippers, paper towels or napkins, hairdryer, no telephone in the room to call to reception. I chose the room with toilet and shower at the floor, not in the room, so you would need some gum slippers or flip-flops to take shared shower. There is extensive fungus in the door of shower room. For the price of more than 100 $ it could be a little bit more comfortable. However personnel is absolutely friendly and helpful.

Basic is not supposed to mean dingy: the walls in the tiny room, in the shared bathroom and in the extremely tiny lift were dirty. The desk is so worn out is pathetic. The receptionists were nice, the bed was well made and the location close to the train station was great.
