The pool in this hotel was excellent and each room had very high ceilings to help keep cool.

Lovely setting with pool and beautiful garden. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. I thought this was good value for the price we paid. Areas for improvement: no towles supplied initially (had to ask), lack of toiletries in the room (no hand soap), wifi does not work, food at restaurant quite expensive. We wanted to have two beds but the rooms have inbuilt king beds so there was a small uncomfortable single bed added. No room service unless you ask and provide your key.

Terrible conditions in the room. There were bugs, old towels and torn bed sheets. Did not have adequate hot water. Faucet controls were falling off. One of two air conditioners was not working. Pool was not usable, the water was cloudy. This property should be delisted from hotels.com.

Property does not have a lot of staff and is not well maintained. The grounds are beautiful, but neglected. The property is also hard to access, down a dirt road for about a kilometer. So if you're without a car it is hard to leave in the evenings. When I was there the restaurant was dark and did not provide any service.

My husband and I thought this was really neat. It's almost as though we were in the middle of the jungle. Gorgeous garden and pool. You'll also see some monsters, frogs and lizard! Staff were very v friendly we arrived almost 10pm our first night and they were willing to serve us dinner! We were grateful after a long day with no food! We would recommend it if you're in sigiriya!

Great location. Lots of dogs barking at night and in the morning. Great service. Less then 15 min to Lion Rock.

My stay was great, the location was actually perfect, not too far from the tourist attractions!

The hotel was run a bit oddly. At check-in, we were brought to a room with the door already open and the air conditioning going. I had booked a room with a second bed, which this room did not have, so we were brought to another room with a second bed that also had the door open. As a result, there were some small flies in the room. Also, we did not realize until after the front desk had closed that there were no sheets provided for the second bed. We had to request those the next day. Also, the check-out process was a bit long and hectic. There seems to be some management issues. However, the staff was friendly. There was a slip-up on my part too, as the Wi-Fi was regularly not working. Due to our language barriers, I became frustrated at not understanding why the Wi-Fi was out. Sri Lanka is currently experiencing power outages in regions, so be prepared for this. It is not the fault of the hotel.

This hotel is just opening back up. The staff is very friendly, the property is lovely, and there’s a happy German Shepherd that hangs out there. The room is big with a comfy bed. I would stay there again.

Love this spot. Very clean, hotel name really live upto the name flower garden. I will come back and stay here again. One disadvantage is the road coming into this hotel need upgrade and it’s almost like going donkey ride in Kabul!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Property is well presented but the only issue was that there were items on the menu which were not available, not only once but every night we ate at the resyaurant.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. None of the pictures do it justice. It is set in the middle of jungle foliage. Don’t let the dirt road that leads to it throw you off. The pool is gigantic, the rooms are large and nice, and the restaurant is good. It is special

Great proximity for the hikes up Sigariya Rock and Pidurangala Rock. Very tranquil and quiet. Great pool to relax by after the walks and clean and comfortable Rooms. Would recommend!

Very good hotel, really a garden setting, easy, couteous staff, highly recommended

Nice hotel but away from main road and was not easy access. Once off the main road there is fairly descent dirt road up for awhile but once you turn off that there is single lane track which is slightly difficult in a wide car. First time in the dark it would be like driving into a jungle. But the welcome is nice. The bathrooms are dated with no ventilation after a shower. Don’t attempt to open the window unless you want to be attacked by mosquitoes.

We loved staying at Flower Garden Eco Village! The hotel was new and beautiful. Our room was the most spacious we stayed in during our strip to Sri Lanka. The room was cleaned every day and had a great private porch. My only complaint would be that the shower curtain was moldy. The included breakfast was fantastic and dinner was also excellent with very good prices. We ate there every night! We also used this hotel to arrange all of our trips during our stay including from the airpot, Lion's rock, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, and to our next hotel in Kandy. The driver was very safe, the car was super comfortable and prices were very reasonable. The hotel is very close to local tourist sites and will help you arrange a quick tuk tuk to those as well. However, my favorite part of this place was the incredible pool. Very clean, spacious, and will plenty of lounge chairs to relax on. Totally recommend this hotel!

Staff was friendly and willing, but things seemed slightly disorganized. There was initial confusion about our reservation, and little details (e.g., "open" style shower lacked curtain that could be considered optional, but would have been convenient, and was present in some rooms) were missed. Smoking (or non-smoking) policy questionable at best. Although rooms were denoted "non-smoking", there were no designated smoking areas, so we were often forced to share space (including dining areas) with heavy smokers who must have felt compelled to light up in any place that wasn't clearly marked as off limits.
