A beautiful venue with lots of attractions in surrounding area. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel needs improvement in dining room service. No one was communicating in terms of what the food entails and a kitchen personnel came by to dropped off food on the table without saying anything.

한옥이 아름다웠고 정원도 좋았습니다. 특히 마당에 흰토끼가 와서 보기 좋았습니다 그러나 관리가 잘 안되어서 문제가 있어 보였습니다. 10년전에 갔을때는 좋았었는데 안타까웠습니다

This an exquisite traditional Korean style hotel. We would highly recommend this for a more authentic hotel experience. Staff is wonderful.

It looks great from outside. My parents were so happy with this traditional hanok hotel until we went inside. Tiny shower and toilet are separated by doors and there is a sink outside of shower. This entire bathroom area does not have a door. So if you are traveling with someone you need more privacy with, this may not be the most comfortable hotel. Room is little old looking and smells kinda funny, maybe because it is hanok. Overall cleanliness was just okay. The ocean view from the room was great though.

직원분들은 매우 친절하고 상냥하게 숙박 동안 도와주셨습니다. 바다가 보이고 마루에서 일출을 볼 수 있어 멋있고, 방도 깨끗하고 좋습니다. 주차도 편리합니다. 아침으로 미역국과 전복죽을 무료로 먹을 수 있는데 큰 기대 없이 먹었던 것에 비해 꽤 맛있었습니다. 단점은, amenity가 너무 저렴한 것인지 향과 품질이 별로 좋지 않은 것 같아서 호텔이 깨끗하고 좋았던 것에 비해 어울리지 않아 좀 아쉬웠습니다. 그리고 한옥 특징으로 개방감이 뛰어나서, 답답하지 않아 좋기도 하지만 옆방이나 정원, 다른 동의 투숙객들이 늦게까지 대화하거나 하는 소리가 그대로 다 들립니다. 호텔 스탭분들께 도움을 청하면 바로 해결해 주시려 노력을 많이 해주십니다만 잠자리에 예민하신 분들은 고려해 보셔야 할 듯 합니다. 깨끗하고 풍경도 좋은 한옥 호텔로 추천합니다. 주요 관광지와도 가까워 기차역에서 차를 렌트해 오시면 편리하게 여행하실 수 있습니다.

This is my second stay at Odongjae. It was excellent at first time, but this time it is quite disappointing. The room was somewhat dirty. There were some pieces of chocolates and hairs on corners and on the futon bed. There were some feces spots not cleaned on the edge of toilet seat. We had a hard time sleeping because the room was too hot. (The temp. control was hidden behind the curtain, and someone had set the temperature to 32C (90F). I have turned off the floor heater (ondol) but it was too late. Also, there was an electric mosquito repellent turned on. It is a very cold winter day and there is no mosquito! The staffs were all kind, but I felt like that the overall management has become quite loose. Breakfast is included, but it is just a toast and coffee. You have to pay about $10 more to get a normal-Korean style breakfast. We missed breakfast this time, but it was not good and too salty last time.

Special experience to stay in Korean traditional room. It is worth. It is not a hotel room it is a house.

The location of the hotel is great. It has a great view that you can look over Yeosu's coastal line. I could see the sunrise and sunset in the room. Also, it is like transitional Korean style building, so it has unique vibes compared to other hotels. It is very close to the train station, expo sites, and other travel sites. However, there is 1 down side of this hotel. The staffs don't communicate and don't clean rooms promptly. On the check-in day, they said the room is ready. And we had to wait 30 minutes outside the room with my 90 year-old grandmother so they can finish up cleaning. On the second day, we went out at 9am and put the sign "please clean the room." We came back at 4pm, nothing was done. So this happened 2 days in a row out of our 3 days stay there. The hotel has everything expect for a good/timely service. If you want more unique experience by staying at a transitional housing, I recommend, but be prepared for bad services.

깨끗하고, 뷰도 좋고 정말 편안한 숙소였습니다! 아쉬운 점은 방음이 잘 안 되고, 옆 방 화장실 냄새가 환풍기를 통해 들어옵니다... 이거 외에는 전체적으로 맘에 들었습니다!

여수 KTX 역에서 가깝습니다. 겨울인데 난방 잘 되어 춥지 않았습니다. 분위기와 전망(바다)이 좋아 가족이 묵기에도 좋겠습니다. 다만 샤워실의 배수가 잘 안되는 것 같습니다. 개선 필요합니다.
