Great stuff , convenient location very walkable to major attractions , Outside the hotel after 9-10 pm very noisy , lots of homeless people , people drinking on the street , glass bottles left on side walks , garbage on side walks

The area surrounding the property is at a disadvanatge even though you are close to the main attractions. Staff is amazing, especially Deborah and Marco who went the extra mile to make are stay even more special. Also, I would not recommend that they put a club in the basement of the hotel as it will only attract the wrong target of people in the hotel. Maybe a spa would be better suited.

The breakfast was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly.

The hotel was better than our expectations. It was clean and tidy. The staff was helpful and provided cold water whenever we asked. However, the area around the hotel wasn’t feel safe, the streets were dirty and smelly.

We have very mixed feelings about this hotel. To start with, the hotel staff are absolutely lovely. They were incredibly friendly and helpful to anything we needed. The hotel itself as well was quite nice, there were slight issues with the cleaning of our rooms but nothing too major. However, the hotel is placed in genuinely one of the worst areas possible. We felt incredibly unsafe to walk down the streets, even during the day. At night it was so bad that we ended up having to pay for taxis to drop us off right at the door, even though we had previously bought a travel card. The men stare at you when you walk past for no reason, the area itself is also apparently known for lots of illegal activities. It was our bad for not researching the area beforehand, however, we feel that you would be able to find a similar hotel in a safer neighbourhood. The hotel is not cheap, we were quite disappointed that we had paid so much money and then ended up feeling so unsafe. Moreover, every night there were lots of loud noises occurring, on the last night we were not able to sleep till 6:30 AM due to boys screaming outside our window. Therefore, we felt that for the money you give, you can get the same hotel in a nicer place or even a better hotel. We would like to reiterate that the hotel staff are so lovely and welcoming, the area surrounding the hotel just ruins it completely.

I like the location, very friendly people, just the pool close to early 8:00 pm

Location was good. The room was very clean a little lacking in amenities , they had no ice and ice machine. They didn’t leave us freshwater or refill the coffee and sugar in our room. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel was a very point boutique hotel had a lap pool on the fifth floor.I’m was very pleased with the hotel. The staff was very accommodating.

I really like this hotel it’s small but it’s convenient for those who want to get around. There’s a bunch of food options that’s in walking distance and public transportation is really close (I recommend taking public transportation it takes you everywhere). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Only downsides were the wash cloth was really big and they didn’t have face (smaller) towels so it made it hard to wash up and they only gone you one. The “English” channels they had only played in Spanish, and I wish they had more options for the snacks in the lobby. If those things could be improved I would like to believe the hotel could be a 4/4.5 star besides that everything else was nice and I enjoyed my stay!

We did enjoy our stay at Niu Barcelona. The staff was very helpful. Our room was small but clean. The 2 downsides were no dresser or extra hangers for clothing (they did offer a few but we needed more for 2 people) and we faced the street which was noisy all night. They did offer ear plugs for the noise so we were happy about that. The location is fairly close to many attractions and we walked everywhere we could. I would highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind walking and the noise. We were told by our cab driver to watch our belongings while on the street. We never had any problems. Thank you!
