Great location right in the middle of town - we went for the winter carnival. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see!

We love staying in a historic hotel with all the amenities. The small bathroom and elevator comes with the history. Very convenient with free 2 story parking right there.

For a Hilton, a historical property, and what we paid, I was very disappointed. Stayed in a suite in a separate building. It's the little things that add up to a lot. Cobwebs on the dining light fixture, hanging from ceiling; holes in blanket; no conditioner left in shower; room temperature way too high. Maybe the main building is better but won't be going back.

The room could have been cleaner. There was other peoples hair all over the shower and bathroom. The rooms are very nice and modern but not soundproof so you better hope you have good neighbors unlike us. The staff was very trashy and rude which was shocking for such a nice hotel. Overall we would stay again and the problems are fixable with better management and staff. Greta location and great town.

The first room we were put in had no heat they were able to quickly move us to a warm room

Hotel is clean, quiet and beautifully preserved. We were there for the winter carnival and found the town friendly, walkable and ready for visitors. Our bed was comfortable with wonderful pillows. I had an issue with the shower control; without my specs I blasted myself and the floor with cold water from the handheld device. Ha Ha, probably heard me downstairs. I will return to "Hot Sara" and the lovely village of Saranac Lake.

Super clean, and all staff was very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend it...

The suits were nice and roomy

Traveling alone, I especially appreciated feeling safe throughout my stay. The staff was especially helpful. Returning to the hotel groggy and hungry after a medical procedure, the young woman at the desk walked me to the restaurant, which was not yet open, and made sure I got a sandwich to take back to my room. Little things like this make all the difference.

The rooms are cold and they can’t change the temperature in the winter. It will be a frosty sleep.

What an experience to stay in Hotel Saranac, I recommend to everybody. The convenience of having two bars, a restaurant, gift shop, spa, salon, barbershop, and all other amenities right in one building. It is a must go stay Hotel experience.

Nice stay in a tiny town! The locals were friendly.

Everything at the hotel was fine with the exception of the on site restaurant. The service was exceptionally slow,the menu prices were excessive compared to the quality of the fare. An example would be the twenty five dollar burger that one had to search to find the burger after thirty-five minute wait. Unacceptable!
