It was very quiet so peaceful . The staff were attentive . Just needed a little revamp with the painting . Couple of sash windows need attention - wood rotting. Good breakfast . Would stay again.

The “compact double” live up to its billing but the room was clean, tidy and well appointed. Location of The Rugby Hotel is fantastic with lots of amenities within walking distance. The only drawback for me was the record-breaking high temperatures during my stay and, of course, the hotel doesn’t offer air conditioning—or even a fan. My top floor room became a sauna and even opening windows provided zero relief. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Lovely cosy hotel,room was clean and staff very helpful. I stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed my stay there. The hotel is situated in the center of town but not noisy,i had a room overlooking the back. I would stay there again when visiting Rugby

Lovely spot, super comfy and very fine hosts

1) No food being served in evening on Saturday 22nd November 2025. 2) TV in room broken so couldn’t watch. 3) Bedside light (right side) not working 4) Push down / pop up plug in bath didn’t work proiey allowing water to escape whilst in bath

Great little place in a great location

Great little bijou sized room, warm and cosy, nice and central, perfect for an overnight stay for a couple, taking in the n’osais event at Benn Hall, a mere 8 minute walk from the hotel. Staff were friendly and the room was spotless, with all the amenities you’d expect for a very reasonably priced and atmospheric hotel.

Room was clean comfortable and quiet. I slept well. There room was very small with no desk. The water was cold in the morning so I couldn't have a shower

Always stay here when I visit. Staff are great, rooms are new and clean, food and bar is decent.
