Jättefint hotell med otrolig utsikt. Fräscha rum. Trevlig personal. Bra frukost och god mat i restaurangen. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter. Bra utgångspunkt för natursköna utflykter.

Our room was clean when we arrived, but we were having difficulty with figuring out the controls to the lights in the room. The shower was nice, and dinner tasted good. The hotel has a strange layout and it was difficult to find room 25, which isn’t on signs in the hotel. Our hotel room also got quite warm at night, I tried to open the windows but it didn’t do much.

To say this stay was disappointing would be an understatement. We booked 2 consecutive nights at this hotel, which ended up as two separate reservations due to changes in our travel plans. At check-in, we clearly explained the situation and asked whether we would need to change rooms between nights. We were assured—on three separate occasions—that it would be easier for the hotel if we remained in the same room. We booked for 3 adults and paid accordingly for a room that accommodates 3. However, the 3rd bed provided was completely unacceptable—essentially a pull-out armchair with no proper mattress and extremely uncomfortable. The couch cushion was the only ‘’pillow’ provided. It was by far the poorest excuse for a third bed I have experienced in any hotel. To make matters worse, when we returned on the second day, we discovered that the hotel had moved us—and all of our belongings—to a different room, despite the multiple confirmations that this would not happen. The handling of this situation was highly unprofessional. There was minimal apology, no real accountability, and no effort to offer compensation. It was also very awkward and confusing to walk into our original room to find it already occupied by new guests. Overall, the experience felt disorganised and poorly managed. Based on other reviews, it seems this hotel benefits from limited accommodation options in the area. Additional points to note: • Wi-Fi is unreliable and frequently drops out • The shower - fluct

The hotel has recently been refurbished,. Our room was lovely—tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Although it was on the ground floor and overlooked the campsite across the road rather than having a scenic view, that didn’t detract from our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with the scrambled eggs being a particular highlight. The staff were attentive, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We only stayed for one night, but it was just what we needed. There was also plenty of parking, which was very convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.

The parking is absolutely rediculous, they state they have onsite parking, don't count on that. The staff directs cars into a tiny parking lot, they are double parking and blocking guest cars in and prevents people from leaving in the morning when they want

A net curtain/blind would be helpful for privacy in room 46 as it over looks the camping site at the back which is at very close quarters

We had a great time at this hotel. We were there 2 nights and it was very easy to get in the car and see all of Isle of Sky from there. The property was under some construction but they did a good job of keeping it mostly away from the rest of the hotel. We were probably going to miss dinner one night but the staff said they’d put in an order for us at 8:15 pm so we could roll in with a reserved seat and eat before they closed. Nice! Breakfast was good and customers can order an egg a different way if you prefer something other than scrambled. We realized our back patio door didn’t lock and we let the front desk know. Parking is tight but the staff actually walked outside to help us get settled somewhere each night. The staff bent over backwards for us! Second floor had some historical pictures of the area and they weren’t great but the art on the first floor was bright and fun. The upstairs pictures might be changing with the construction. The hotel dining areas had excellent views of the water and mountains. The food was really good and tried different things both evenings. We really enjoyed it! I think, if I’m remembering correctly that it was under new management starting in late 2025-early 2026 so whatever they are doing differently, they are doing it right! Loved it and would go back again if we are ever back in the area.

This was the most expensive stay of our trip. They also charge a $22 extra person fee (There were only two of us.) which I find ridiculous. Our view was also of a brick wall, so for $400 for one night I do not feel we got our money worth on this one. Parking was also a problem. We had to park across the street until the dinner rush was over, then we were able to move our car into the parking lot of the hotel. I honestly expected more.
