This hostel had bedbugs. I don’t recommend this hostel at all!

The service is really awful.here. You can tell it's the owner (or one of the owners) by his haughty attitude.

The place was what i paid for. I'm ok with that. The people in my room got up at 6am and turned the lights on then began talking about their job for 2 hours. They were rearranging bags and just making all the noise they could make. I asked them to follow the quiet hours till 8am but they wouldn't. Made for a long tired day.

Great place to stay right on Queen St, 3min walk to King Streetcar

Nice place, wish there was an elevator but stairs not too bad. Staff super accommodating.

There were some experiences that a little hard to explain

For me the location is great for public transportation, you have all the shops and restaurants within walking distance and overall the staff was great

The price was cheap. The property is located on the strip with all the stores. Very very close to lots of shopping. And the place is super super clean. Locals live in the rooms. No privates available. The bad: Weird smell in the ladies dorm. Shady looking but safe neighborhood. Charge for towels. Overall I'd give it a 7 out of ten and I would stay again. I was there 2 nites. Sleep only.

First all we did not slept there, we did not wanted to risk our health or infect our house upon return. When we arrived at the room, i went to the bathroom, toilet paper roll was almost empty, when i reached under the sink, the TP roll was stuck to the bottom of the cabinet, i pulled it and a dozen of cockroaches fled from it, the roll is full of bug eggs. Upon better examination, there was 2 other toilet paper roll above the sink on a shelve near the light, this tells me the owner knows about this issue. I called them around 6:30 PM, the manager was not there, told me i would receive a call back same day and at 11:30 pm i decided to drive back to MTL overnight. I tried to speak to a manager for 2 weeks and he was never available even when i called back at the time they told me to call back. I was never able to get a full refund, they offered 25%... its insulting! There was dust and hair behind the toilet, i squashed 1 of the cockroaches, there has been some water damage and never properly cleaned it. This was the dirtiest rental i've had in my lifetime, i can't believe they rent this, that place is to avoid completely. note: this was an appartment rental. I would give minus stars if i could, they should not be allowed to rent and have an hotel license. There was a time where Hotel.com would only get good stays buts it looks they do not filter anymore!
