Loved the room. Breakfast was great. The hostess sent an email with instructions so we had a smooth check in. Wifi could be better.

We had a great stay at this small hotel tucked away in a wooded area of the Vosges. The renovated room was very comfortable with good quality bedding and although the bathroom was a little dated everything worked well with plenty of hot water. What was really outstanding was the lovely brasserie (they also have a large dining room which is used for big group events) where we dined and had breakfast both nights of our stay (other dining options are a drive away). Like the rooms the brasserie had also had a contemporary makeover (the building is very old) and felt very cosy. The food was very typical of the region but with modern twists and cooked really well, and the portions were huge! Sven the chef is clearly very talented. The cold breakfast buffet was delicious… the best croissants we have ever had in France (baked on the premises apparently) and lovely local cheese and ham as well as fruit and yogurts and bread. Excellent value for €10. Seven’s partner Khrystyna works very hard providing a polished dining service and also acting as receptionist and helpful host. She was very patient with our faltering French but was happy to help in English too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stop here if you are in the region. The pretty wine villages are 15-20 minutes drive away and well worth visiting.

chambre nickel, le couple de gérants très pro et très sympathique, cuisine alsacienne très bonne, nous étions là bas en hiver, nous n'avons pas pu explorer les alentours mais pour les randonneurs l'endroit semble également idéal!

Kleines, familiäres Hotel mit freundlichen Besitzern. Doppelzimmer wie beschrieben und dargestellt nicht sehr geräumig, aber mit guten neuen Betten ausgestattet. Badezimmer veraltet, aber sauber. Sehr gute, empfehlenswerte Küche! Alles in bestem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Besonders geeignet für Naturliebhaber, Wanderer, Ruhesuchende. Kostenloses Parken direkt am Hotel

Hôtel situé au milieu d'un bois, au calme. Chambre confortable. Le restaurant est un plus,nous avons très bien diner. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Hôtel isolé dans la nature. Personnel au top. Pas de clim, pas de ventilateur, et peu dinsonorisation avec le couloir. Le principal problème est le flux inconstant d'eau dans la sdb, avec très peu d'eau chaude.

Excellente soirée, restaurant très très bien, salle et terrasse magnifiques. Chambre spacieuse avec balcon, belle vue. Endroit très calme.

Hôtel à l'orée du bois. Accueil chaleureux. Très jolie chambre récemment rénovée. Excellente literie. Grande salle de bain (probablement en attente de rénovation) Le tout d'une très grande propreté. Je regrette seulement de ne pas avoir opté pour la demi-pension soirée-étape (carte alléchante)

Very cosy countryside hotel. It’s the perfect combination of traditional Alsace style and modern comfort. Highly recommended if you are looking for an authentic French experience. The hotel is also relatively close to Strasbourg and therefore a great place to stay if you are travelling by car and want to visit Strasbourg as well. Their restaurant kitchen is traditional with locally sourced goods. You have a selection of a few well prepared dishes that are native to the area. They also have a fine selection of local wines and beer. The hotel is family owned, driven by a couple. The wife is sweet, welcoming and very service minded. The husband runs the kitchen and his food is delicious with a gourmet twist to the otherwise traditional dishes. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Prices are very compatible (both the hotel and the restaurant). The hotel has two stars but definitely feels more like a three star experience. Highly recommend!
