Really enjoyed our 1 night stay- lovely room, toiletries, great breakfast, staff were friendly and the outdoor area was lovely in the sun. However we were surprised that the hotel/ pub closed up at 11pm on a Saturday evening so when we got back from dinner we found ourselves locked out. Turns out we hadn’t been given a side door key on arrival. All was resolved but was a little surprised! We also found the rooms to have very very thin walls and floors.. so we were woken up by other guests very early

Beautiful little getaway, not far from Blenheim Palace and in the proper Cotswolds AONB. Well recommended. Pizza on offer was likewise well done for a midday snack...s was the main menu for dinner. Breakfast very nice. Room lovely. Staff attentive. Quintissential Norman church across the road.

This is a very special place to stay. Wonderful welcoming hosts, and exceptional food. It’s very traditional but also luxurious and the open fires in the restaurant and individually decorated rooms are such a treat. I would highly recommended this hotel.

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Swan. It was absolutely magical and pure bliss. It was utter perfection and we couldn’t ask for a better stay. Thankyou to everyone who made this such a magical stay. Our honeymoon was perfect because of you all!

Beautiful and quaint traditional stone pub set in the heart of Oxford countryside. Excellent food, particularly the breakfast.

Great staff providing great service. The one disappointment was the bedroom which was looking rather tired and tatty in places. The bed was suffering from age and we could feel the springs. This detracted from what otherwise is a little gem of a hotel.

Small hallways to get to your room. Lots of steep stairs. No assistance with your bags. I am a senior with a heart condition.

A lovely couple of days stay. Our room was upgraded which was very comfortable. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Only downside was our meal on the first night. We ordered steak which really wasn’t up to scratch for the price we paid. We did however really enjoy the sourdough pizzas the following night. The continental breakfast which was included was an added bonus too. The only other thing I would say is the room could do with a full length mirror or a mirror at least in the bedroom area.

We stayed here less than 12 months ago and it was lovely, which prompted us to book again, but it appears to have deteriorated very quickly. The room was really quite poor; wallpaper peeling, repairs to the toilet door not repainted, stains on both sides of the headboard, a ripped bedsheet and the bath leaked. We must have been directly over the kitchen due to the constant fan noise. The staff were pleasant though, but probably not one to revisit.

We only stayed for one night but had a great time. The evening meal was both excellent and good value for money. The breakfast included in the room price was also good. Would highly recommend the Swan.

We had a nice stay at The Swan Inn. We had a family room and while there was enough room, the bathing situation was a little awkward. It was fine for one night, but we have teenagers, so privacy was a bit of an issue. Overall, it is exactly what you would expect. It charming and quiet.

Very comfortable room with en-suite and small kitchen area. Excellent dinner in the lovely pub itself - staff were polite and friendly (especially Maggie). Hard to find any fault at all. Make sure to wander across to the local church and the tree lined avenue

We booked a one night stay in the signature room. The room was beautifully designed and presented with a fabulous en suite having a separate large shower and bath. We had dinner in the beer garden which had a relaxed atmosphere and lovely furniture. Food was restaurant quality and all staff were friendly and professional. We easily parked for free on the quiet road outside as the swan car park was full. Nothing to dislike about this place, would highly recommend.
