My go-to place for when I visit Amsterdam. It is a lovely building equipped with wonderful amenities, a safe and quiet location, short walk to multiple bus stops, with an award winning gelato shop right up the road. All the staff members are so attentive and helpful. The rooms are equipped with everything you could need as well as a nice little store at the floor level for quick snacks or necessities. I love Amrath Apart Hotel and will definitely start here again next time I visit.

Staff were very kind and helpful, however, it is not near public transportation and the beds were not very comfortable

The kitchen had a counter top hot plate and all associated cookware at no extra charge. Previously there was a daily charge. The bus stop is about a 15 minute walk away.

Have a lot to say, good and bad. I will start with the Good The Good: - Staff were very friendly and welcoming - Room was nice, clean, and perfect for 2 people - 15 minute walk from the bus stop - Amenities in walking distance (a bar, a snack bar, Albert Heijn is a 20 minute walk away) - Nice view from windows - Bed was comfortable - Gym, laundry room (pods must be purchased), game room all in hotel - Sponge and soap provided for dishes The Bad: - The Bathroom - Shower seal was dirty - Shower seal on the door was also broken - Hose had a leak, but that luckily did not make the water pressure bad - Certain places in the room were dusty - One of the plates had a crack in it down the middle - So little dishes, you will have to wash your glasses every day - Room key had incorrect dates on it and stopped working earlier than intended, however the staff were once again very friendly and helpful and immed gave us replacement keys - Microwave turntable does not spin - You may be charged if you need new towels or extra housecleaning - not a lot of soundproofing between other rooms - Table and chairs are very low to the floor - Two twin mattresses means they slide around easily, but that’s easy to fix - Sheet came off easy - One mattress had stains on it Overall, my partner and I did have a great stay, and enjoyed the time in the hotel room. It was nice, other than the issues we had here.

Quiet and charming, the staff is very helpful. It’s not easily accessible by bus but you can get to and from schipol airport to take the train into central in like 40 minutes give or take so be prepared to uber if you don’t do that but I recommend the bus to get a feel for the area.

We checked in as normal on Wednesday but that's the only easy part of the entire trip we experienced. After checking in we went to the room on the 3rd floor and found out the AC wasn't working. We called the front desk and was told they would get maintenance out there by Friday to fix it. In the mean time a small fan was brought to the room. The next day after returning from the beach there was a sign on the elevator saying it was out of order. Friday came along and we asked the front desk when maintenance was coming and they told us that the 3rd floor has been out for weeks. So overall no one was coming when we first asked and were lied to. There's been heat advisories during the visit and having our room face the sun we were getting every bit of heat so I went to bed sweating and woke up sweating. Also, got locked out one day and didn't know that you had to press a button to the front desk. The guy told us that he locks the door when he goes to do other things. Lastly this place is far from other forms of public transportation so you will walk more than expected. Overall this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and highly recommend you to stay away. P.s. Even after we checked out on Tuesday morning the AC and elevator STILL weren't working!

I feel like having the word hotel in the name is misleading. What’s also misleading is the place advertises they are within 10 minute walking distance from the museums and other tourist attractions. This place is not a hotel, it’s more of a short term apartment complex. It’s located in a subdivision. They only clean your room once after the 6th night and then repeated every 7 days. NO toiletries and if you want more towels they charge $6. The funny part is I was going to give them 5 stars for service, because they gave us one of the rooms early, but I had to argue with the guy downstairs because he was saying the room will be cleaned after the 7th day. He gave up when I told him that I would pull up the email the sent me. When we were leaving, my daughter heard him say to another employee to over charge them, and he doesn’t care. He didn’t realize my daughter was standing beside him trying to turn in the room key-card. In the email I got it stated they have a game room which was old stained couches, a worn out billiard table, a juke box which did not work, a broke TV on the floor, and a mounted TV that doesn’t work. I should’ve done my research, but also shame on Expedia for advertising this was a hotel and shame on the business for pretending to be a hotel. They don’t even have a front desk!!! I want to add they charged me city tax, but Expedia had already collected. The other weird part is I believe they run a shipping company downstairs near the small store or where the

We had a lovely stay at Amrath apartment hotel. We used bolt to get around because public transit is not convenient to get to. Rides into Amsterdam run around 18 euro each way. Laundry is free which was great, dryers were too hot. Room was very comfortable, nice seating, good beds, very clean. There was no dishsoap, laundry soap or shampoo, just bar soap, so bring some. Staff was exceptional, very kind and accommodating. Air conditioning was needed two of the days we were there, it was broken. They gave us a nice fan. Most days were very comfortable without a/c. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. It was so nice to leave the city and have a quiet night to rest toward the next busy day of touring.

Good for a long term stay , staff very friendly, all areas clean and well maintained. On site small shop is very usefull.

We loved our little stay at the Amrath. While some may feel it was out of the way, we found it the perfect place to wind down after a full day in the city. They were always happy to answer any of our questions and the 24 hour market in the lobby was lovely. If you want a quite place to stay just outside of the city, I highly recommend.
