Lovely hotel, we enjoyed our stay and will be back

I have stayed at The Fleece mutiple times over the years. It is exactly what a non UK resident would expect. A charming, beamed, English Pub with a pretty good restaurant but with the added benefit of being able to walk into town. There are rooms in the pub above the bar/restaurant and rooms located in a converted barn located in the courtyard. The rooms are spacious and equipped with the basics. The Fleece has broken with English tradition and have showers that actually work and are larger than the usual postage stamp size. The staff have always been excellent, friendly and accommodating. Excellent value for money and an ideal base for touring the Cotswalds and for day trips to Oxford.

The room itself was OK, but the bathroom was unheated and rather cold. Hot and cold water from the shower and the sink were always available.

Wonderful warm welcome upon arrival. Fabulous staff. Food was excellent. Bar/restaurant area is beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean, modern with a very comfortable large bed. We’ll definitely stay again.

Used hotel facilities before but nevery stayed, would use again.

Great little pub hotel, we have stayed at numerous times. Not fancy, but comfortable and in a good location. A little worn here and there, but doesn't detract from the overall experience. Friendly staff.

Great place to visit, staff excellent and very helpful. Bits of the room looked tired and the noise from the outside area below the room was loud until late. We did have dinner and the food was excellent.

Excellent stay with the most friendly staff and clean nice room. Restaurant had a terrific menu as was the wine list. The whole 10 days was a perfect getaway for us Highly recommended this hotel ❤️

This was a convenient place for us as we were heading to a wedding nearby. The room was clean, and the en-suite surprising large. However there were spots on the wall / that looked like something spilled this was a shame as the room has a lovely decoration - but the marks were noticeable. However everything else was excellent - staff/ food we had breakfast and lunch while there. There are also lots of places to eat close by!

Great three night stay. We enjoyed excellent hospitality from the staff,especially as it was our wedding anniversary.

For an older property, the rooms were clean and modern and had hairdryers/irons and lovely bathing products. For the same price as a holiday inn, this was a fantastic choice. Its situated on the green, views of the wonderful church, Service and food were great, can’t fault it

We stayed 9 different places in U.K. This was the smallest and cheapest room we stayed, but it turned out to be one of our favorite. Interior is well decorated and clean. Inn is located in park with church. This is hidden gem!

Lovely property, not sure I got the room I ordered but was nice and big anyway. Would stay again but they need to fix the toilet seat and take a quarter of an inch off the room and toilet doors as they both stick dreadfully.

Stayover as part of a wedding weekend and the hotel and pub/restaurant attached to it were absolutely brilliant. Service was efficient and personal without being intrusive. Food was excellent too with a great selection of drinks available too. Would use this again in a heartbeat.

It was a very pleasant stay, we were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Sam. Everything was great, but the accommodation could do with a bit of redecoration, especially the entrance.
