Breakfast was very good and the staff pleasant. Awful bed with springs poking into various points and poky bathroom, when using wc, knees almost touching wall.

My husband & I were on a trip to the southwest. We stayed at The Leam Hotel for a night. It's one of the many hotels facing the beach. When we arrived after seven in the evening, we weren't sure where to park. I got off the car to ask at the reception & was given a parking permit. We could park at designated zones at the back streets around that area. We had to walk back to the hotel with our luggage. We were upgraded to a sea view room with a queen size & also a single bed. We were taken up to our room & advised on nearby restaurants. It appears to be a family run hotel with friendly staff. The room was neat & spacious although not the luxurious type. The problem was with the shower, it's ridiculously slow. We didn't think it's possible to wash your hair & one needs a long time washing off the soap. Also we only had a tiny bottle of shower gel between us which I think was a bit stingy. The bed was a bit soft but I still managed a great night's sleep, with comfy pillows. Overall our stay was alright except the unbearable shower. We don't understand how it got the outstanding score of 5 out of 5.
