We had a fantastic stay. The host was extremely welcoming and made a real effort to welcome our baby. The hotel was charming and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a delight and all freshly prepared with a great selection. The town centre was a short distance away, we easily walked into town with a pram full of stuff.

An unexpected but very memorable stay in a historical property in Lübeck. The property was very clean and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated the spaciousness of our room with high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. The hosts were welcoming and it was interesting to learn about the property's history and restoration. Highly recommended over staying in Lübeck city centre, which is only a short drive away. Very keen to return and experience one of the other suites.

Very unique property with nice attention to detail. Very clean and well presented. Lovely courtyard with beautifully manicured pond and fauna. If you need an outdoor area to sit comfortably and have a cigar and a glass of wine, this property certainly has it. One caveat, if there is no functioning pool on the property then they should not advertise as having a pool. When booking properties, I always try to book one with a pool for my wife because that is important to her. I communicated in a polite way that this was a disappointment , but the owners made no attempt to compensate us in anyway for this. Oh well, it is what it is.

Amazing hotel, was shown around and given a little history of the area and building on arrival. Room was beautiful and very tasty breakfast in gorgeous surroundings.

What a wonderful experience. The room was spectacular, every room in this 6 room little castle is unique and beautiful. The hosts and owners could not have been more welcoming, they make you feel right at home. The location is excellent, very close to Lübeck and Bad Schwartau which were my priorities. It is a rare find, with plenty of parking, excellent breakfast and a wonderful glass of red wine after a long day out and about. Highly recommend it!

Lovely, unique boutique hotel (B&B). Incredibly spacious luxurious property in an unexpected location. We were pleasantly surprised. Friendly, helpful owners and staff. Delightful breakfast!! Treat yourself with some of this wonderful German hospitality, you won’t be disappointed. 😁

Nice compact city to explore

Nice hotel lots of nice quirky touches, very friendly hosts, good breakfast not far from the city but the surrounding area is industrialised, but not a problem.

Bilderna på huset gör det förvisso rättvisande, men huset är placerat mitt i ett industriområde och omgivet av bilvägar. Vi hade ett trevligt dygn i Lübeck och det är alls inget fel på hotellet eller dess service, men det var ändå under vår förväntan pga läget, och det var också i dyraste laget.

Die Inhaber und das Personal sind alle sehr freundlich.

Alles rundum schön, sehr nette Gastgeber mit ihrem Schlosshund Lilly. Unser Hund war willkommen im Glückszimmer. (Suite: Nicht mit Hund, da Allergikerzimmer und Teppichboden!) Schade ist, dass Sauna pro Person extra kostet für 1,5h 25€. Das Schwimmbad ist aus Energiegründen gerade nicht in Betrieb. Finde ich eine wichtige Information, die ich erst im Hotel erfuhr. Jedoch fühlt man sich in den Räumlichkeiten wie in einem kleinen Schloss. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und vielfältig. Gerne wieder!

Perfect place to stay at when visiting Lubecke. Great rooms, excellent hospitality and breakfast with all you can wish for. A beautiful gardenroom a so very nice decorated little castel.

Otrolig atmosfär där små detaljer visar den värme och kärlek hotellet besitter. Vi kände oss välkomna under vår vistelse. God frukostbuffé och då man sedan kom upp till ett rum med nybäddat sängar. Vackert inrett rum med skön säng och allt vi behövdes fanns till hands. Vårt lilla barn uppskattade alla fina detaljer som fanns att se på då vi gick runt i de fina omgivningarna. Tack för denna gång, på återseende.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit zauberhaften Zimmern, Badewanne und Dusche! und feinem Frühstück. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber und Mitarbeiter. Wer gut zu Fuß ist oder mit dem Auto anreist, den stört auch die etwas längere Strecke bis zur Innenstadt nicht (ca. 15min zu Fuß).

Dejlig varm modtagelse og en informativ guidning til byen og restauranter. Fantastiske rustikke omgivelser og venligt personale. Pragtfuld morgenmad, dog manglede boblerne som prikken over i’et. Kan klart anbefales.

My girlfriend and I, had the most amazing time staying at this carefully renovated house. The rooms was astonishing, and the breakfast was something truly spectacular. We stayed for a single night, and the only regret we had, was not having another night at Lübecker Krönchen.
