Wifi was weak so that is a -1. Other then that it was i wanted to try there is hot spring and tried the private one which have not much queues so was able to use it. Room was clean and very traditional Japanese room. Food was good overall and filling but will say that is serving is large as i can barely finish it. Overall is good and the stay was great.

Staff were lovely, the room and it’s view was incredible, and the baths were magnificent! The breakfast however, while including some yummy dishes, could be improved upon (the miso and a lot of the smaller dishes were delicious, but some dishes were cold by the time we sat down to eat them and the fish was fairly dry). Overall a very satisfied stay! 😊

Minus 1 star because of bad wifi connection in our room 😅. The staff were super kind and helpful. The gentleman guided us to our room explained everything, and I really mean EVERYTHING, in details. Onsen is great, food is great, location is great (very close to Kamesho - a well-known sushi restaurant in Beppu. Highly recommend staying here if you wanna secure a slot in Kamesho).

Immediately upon arriving at the ryokan, we were greeted with kindness. My husband and I stayed in a room with our own onsen, and added the kaiseki dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the private open air bath after our very yummy dinner and took a walk inside the facility. Two smaller indoor private onsens, one large private onsen, and a set of public onsens (one for women, one for men) are available. There is also a ping pong table available to play for a small price. Vending machines with milk (recommended after soaking in the hot spring), beer, sodas, and water. The hospitality was out of this world. Our room was incredible. And we loved the onsen itself. Highly recommend this ryokan!

Great traditional style hotel! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. And the staff very friendly.
