The hotel was adequate and in a good position near to lift and piste . But we had a Very poor experience with this hotel as the room unfortunately was not fit for purpose. Our room was immediately above the swimming pool pump room. There was a loud continuous drone 24 hours a day making it impossible to sleep at night. A stressfull holiday experience.

This hotel caters primarily to English and Welsh families on week-long holiday. We were the only Americans in the hotel, and we only stayed 3 nights, so our experience was a little different. Pluses: the hotel's location is terrific. Ski-in and out, right at the base of a small section of the 3 Vallees. You are right at the base, easy access to either Courchevel or Meribel, without having to drive or ride a bus. It's also not nearly as crowded. The staff was wonderful, almost all younger English kids there working for the season. They worked very hard to take care of the guests, and they were never sullen, rude, or disrespectful. The food was actually pretty good, though the dinner was better than the breakfast. There were enough choices, and the quality was decent most of the time. Not five-star for sure, but it wasn't bad. Minuses: the comfort of the hotel leaves a bit to be desired. There are two twin beds in the room and kind of threadbare carpeting, and they do not provide soap, shampoo, washclothes, or hand towels. It felt very much like a summer camp. You aren't getting a high-end resort here, but then again you aren't paying for one either.

It all set off on such a bad foot. We thought we had booked into a quaint French Hotel, but as we were asked to phone the hotel to confirm arrival time and we got through to a British tour operator. So this hotel is actually a ski chalet hotel. Our expectations were low, but on arrival we were pleasantly surprised. Lovely staff, comfortable rooms with new beds, UK TV channels, AMAZING hot water and pressure and a large bath. Lovely large bar/lounge with open fire too. The food was a just little above average but after skiing, just to have someone cook for you was great and you were offered a choice of three starters, mains and desserts. The breakfast was lovely though and again surprised to have a Full English option. Didn't try out the spa so can't comment. All in all a great experience and if you are skiing it definitely ticked all the boxes - direct access to piste. My gripe is that the hotel was missold to us on the Hotels.com advert and we were told by Alpine Elements on the phone that there would not be half board every-night (even though we paid for this). Once in resort all was great and the hotel manager very professional. Anyone coming to this hotel needs to know it is a Bristish Chalet Hotel and not a 'hotel' as such. That's my only gripe, otherwise all good and an amazing ski hols had by all.
