Staff were very uninterested in the residents, one never looked up from her phone when you entered or left the building. Our room wasn’t cleaned on our 2nd day. Breakfast was good and the man stocking the breakfast was very friendly. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the square. I would be happy to stay again but staff really need to up their welcome.

Room was large and comfortable. They had no ac, but provided a air cooler: nice place for a quick stopover

Centrally located right off the main square so we could see the market and beautiful view of the mountain. The room was very spacious with a large bed. We loved the historical feel of the place but had all modern amenities. There were a couple steep flights of steps which didn’t bother us but if you have knee problems/heavy suitcase be mindful of. I wouldn’t say that’s a deal breaker as it was easy for me but flagging for others who may. Definitely would go back due to the beautiful rooms, friendly staff, and perfect location.

We had an amazing time in Brasov; the hotel is right in the main plaza and is very convenient. In 1 min you are in old town with multiple food options and shopping. Breakfast was very good and the ladies prepped early breakfast for us- thank you all, we had a great time!

Beautiful property , safe. across from Black Church and Piata Mare. This was our second time staying in this hotel and we will return .

The property was in a great location, but it was more run down than I expected

The two main advantages of this property is it’s on the main square and there is a very good free breakfast. Surprisingly, my room did not have air-conditioning, but this was not required even though the temperature was 32°C. These old buildings have thick walls and there is a narrow courtyard. The only major complaint is that it’s very noisy in the morning after 8 am with the rooms around this narrow courtyard. I was awaken by an extremely loud and an enthusiastic rendition of happy birthday by some Germans which was not appreciated. My stay was also very good value for money.

Great stay at this property. Parking could be challenging during busier times as there is no on-site parking. Public/private paid parking is available nearby.

Excellent room, except there was way too much street noise at night.

Perfectly located in the centre of the old town, with a great breakfast. Lacked a bar on site, but plenty of options nearby. Only negative was that the room was so hot, and there didn't seem to be any way of controlling it. My room looked out on to an inner courtyard so not a lot of natural light coming in. The front facing options perhaps better in this regard. Overall i would recommend.

The lady at the front desk was very rude and not helpful. The room needs repairs, the wall paper was peeling off and in general needs better cleaning. Strong snell to cigarretes in no smoking room. Good location.

This place is absolutely beautiful and is in a very lively part of town, which is part of its charm. The only real "issue" we had was that the water would go from freezing cold to scolding hot while you're in the shower and it got my back pretty good! Parking is about a 10 minute walk away in a place called the Prinz Gregor hotel and if you get the mountain view room (which faces the front of the hotel with a balcony) there can be a bit of noise since we were directly in front of the main town square but nothing too crazy if you keep the door closed. I recommend getting the breakfast as it's quite good and if you go down around 7:30 you'll be one of the, if not THE first people there. Overall, this place is great and the view from our place was beautiful!!

This hotel is ideally situated for the centre of Braşov old town and all its attractions. The hotel was clean and our room was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and varied but the hot food was only lukewarm and limited, an English breakfast tea would have been nice along with decaf options. The Wi-Fi did not work in the room which was disappointing, apparently a router was down and awaiting repair. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t want to put anyone off.
