The room was clean and well spaced for two. Breakfast was good and varied. The only thing I would improve is adequate clothes space in the shared bathrooms. It is extremely inconvenient to change within the confines of the shower cubicle without having a dry spot for clothes. Also I suggest that the bathrooms and showers are cleaned twice a day rather than once mid morning.

The room was good, although it was a little tricky to find the shared bathrooms at first. Breakfast was not worth it, service was slow and the food below average.

Front desk staff / security were friendly but occasionally had to wait for them to finish their personal conversations before being acknowledged. The room was adequate but you should ask for one towards the back of the building because the road noise is excessive. Bed was a bit sunken in at the middle. Bathrooms and shared kitchen were decent but some guests are inconsiderate and filthy. The cleaning staff does the best they can to remedy that. Breakfast was terrible. Cold bland food, disorganized systems, and the staff clearly don’t want to be there. They were snippy and rude for no reason. So I skipped the free breakfast after the first day. Luggage storage I was told wouldn’t be available but then I saw other people storing their luggage, so I don’t know what happened there. Also note that you need to climb a small set of stairs to enter the building which can be tricky with luggage.

Place was super clean and secure. Easy check in process and I was able to keep my luggage secure and explore the city pre check in. Breakfast in the morning was great and amazing value overall.

Kitchen and bathrooms very dated and not particularly clean. Corridor is incredibly loud at all hours of the night and day, the doors all bang shut. Soft close doors would help hugely. Bed very comfortable, room, bedding and towels very clean. Overall a good stay for the price, just the constant disturbances from the corridor doors a slight issue that would be so easy to fix.

I think an extra towel would be helpful, but otherwise it was fine for a night. I'm staying another night this week, but such a good location. I've recommended to all at my job who need a quick, easy and cheap stay. Breakfast was much better than I expected given the price!

Perfect location. I used to live in London and transportation-wise, this is the best location of you have a busy schedule.

No inside lock or deadlock on the rooms(only the external electronic lock). Rooms clean, but extremely basic. Shower was freezing cold even at hottest setting. Breakfast is a joke. 8am start with massive queues, and a single coffee machine that is super slow. WiFi is students only. Staff were helpful.

First of all we I appreciate the help of the 2 beautiful ladies who helped me by giving directions to use the train going to Gatwick Airport and even printed out the directions and as well as the form I needed for my cruise.Thank you so much ladies! The room looks clean but it doesn’t smell clean🤔 I could not charge my phone because of the plug is different and when I tried to borrow an adapter at the reception desk the guy told me that all of their stocks were out and nobody returned it. I could not sleep well because of the noise from outside and from other rooms who was still talking until midnight😳Must have a policy about that There’s no much option about rooms with a private bathroom since I badly needed it due to I have mobility issues and the bathrooms does not have rails to help me. The free breakfast is good with a variety of options but the coffee is not that hot and I suggest that they should have a better system for the guests not to wait for too long in line and better seating arrangements or spacing.

Breakfast AYCE buffet was very good with lots of options, safe convenient location and price were the most attractive features. Building is older and completely inaccessible (many steps and narrow doorways). Check in/out guy that we encountered was so unfriendly l would suggest he finds a different role, other staff were pleasant. Room is tiny with one chair, tiny table and a sink but it's private which is a big step up from a dorm. Kitchen was nice with fridges, kettle and microwave but could be better managed (not many plates or utensils and adding stickers to food with date of departure on it or a left over food section would be so easy). Beds were okay with cheaper coil mattresses that were not the most comfortable but definitely passable so don't let it stop you from booking. One bed was regular twin, the other was a pull down from a desk which was much higher. Overall 4 out of 5 and yes I would stay there again.

Cheap: a no-frills, but very conveniently located (Fitzrovia, so a hub of sorts to King's Cross, Regents Park, Marylebone, Soho, Covent Garden, etc.) and v. near the Warren Street tube entrance. Building and rooms are utilitarian 1950's brutalism. Showers are shared. Would make a find movie shooting location for A) Cold War era Soviet Russia; B) Penal institution in Northern New York circa 1949; B) Psychiatric hospital where one has little chance of escaping without outside help; D) all the above. Everything works, but nothing is pretty. Hallways are lighted similarly: white industrial LEDs for those that love relaxing in the machine shop. Spaces are a bit confined / narrow (not sure its ADA compliant; I wouldn't want to be in wheelchair navigating the hallways or elevators). However, very safe (but the individual floors with their bad lighting and concrete and tiled echos are a bit creepy). Pretty good breakfast on the roof with access to an outside terrace. Nice, helpful staff. BTW, did I mention it is: cheap and accessible to nearby neighborhoods?
