Room was nice and cool - often hotel rooms too warm for me. Everything fairly basic but was not looking for more- just a bed to sleep.

The hotel and room were both very clean. While the room was functional overall, the very cheap chairs in the room brought it from Excellent to Good in my book. People at the hotel were excellent.

This is an older property, so the price probably reflects this. Soundproofing not great, so if you like to sleep in, ask for a room away from the lift. Reception is really helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is good. The street is quiet and safe. Only a ten min walk to the station and about the same for town centre.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel D’Angleterre while in Avignon. The front desk staff was very friendly and informative. Philippe was especially helpful in making recommendations for things to do.

Perfect position for visiting the town. The receptionist was extremely helpful and nice. The hotel was all we needed. Bedroom not totally sound proof but that usual but been in worse.

LOVE LOCATION OF HOTEL, ON QUIET TREE-LINED STREET. Easy 1 mile walk to historical sites, restaurants, shopping. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

The property was situated in a pleasant road, in easy walking distance of the lovely historic town of Avignon. An ideal stopover, at a very reasonable price. The staff were first class, nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly stay there again

Room was large, rather undecorated, but perfectly comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Quite close to train station. An easy walk into the main shopping area, and also close to marvelous museums.

Such a nice hotel. The front desk and breakfast staff were all marvelous and so helpful. Great location close to train and bus station. Very quiet street. Easy to walk everywhere. I loved the restaurant suggestions that the front desk gave me. Definitely will be back.

Very helpful service from Phillipe at reception. Well located for train and city walks. Comfortable downstairs lounge with trans and coffee. Shower plumbing needs attention - squirting water at joint - and shower lethally slippery. Concave double bed mattress. Clean enough. Fine for two nights. Pictures of garden courtyard a bit misleading.
