The room was comfortable with a lovely view. However, we were disappointed that the weekend breakfast only started at 7.30am.

I thought the place was very nice except that I could not sleep on the bed due to the the pain it caused my back. It was not firm enough to support the spine enough to stop the excruciating pain. I slept on the floor using the large pillows that were in the room.

Enjoyed our stay. Spacious apartment and good breakfast options. Whole we didn’t cook, there was a stove top but no utensils or microwave to cook. The staff were very helpful with recommendations.

Lovely on entering the hotel room as the large window and stylish furniture made it feel like coming home. The receptionists both afternoon and morning ones were kind, thoughtful and very helpful as we had trouble sorting out charging our EV and also needed help about catching buses into the”Stavanger city centre. Having good receptionists is vital as well as having wonderful accommodation. I talked to the chef as the scrambled eggs were the best we have eaten over the past 6 weeks travelling Doha, Helsinki, the Baltic countries and Scandinavia as well and my husband said the bacon was also the best he’s ever had on this trip that it made me almost relent in my resolve in avoiding pork. Well done for getting so much right for a hotel!

We booked this "hotel" as we wanted a bed to lie in and watch tv. But the bed was in a corner where you could only get in and out on one side (so one person had to climb over the other). And the tv was against the wall that you couldnt see from the bed. We also thought more would be around the hotel as it was next to the university, but there was NOTHING around. It was just too quiet of an area for how much they charged for a room.

A very comfortable stay. Easy to go in and out of town on the bus. Pleasant staff and peaceful hotel and surroundings.

Ydalir is a hidden gem in Stavanger in terms of the environment, cleanliness and its staff. Rooms are comfy and well-appointed. Breakfast is considered scrumptious by European standards. Though it is not situated in downtown, it is easily accessible by public transport.

Amazing place! New and modern in design. Tasty breakfast with nice variety, including chia pudding and pastry. Hotel was kind to provide spare toothbrush and paste as we forgot ours. Room was spacious for 3 of us (adults), they use 'Rituals' for soap and shower gel. Everything necessary was in the room with kitchen. Oven, appliances, dishwasher. Highly recommend this property!

Quiet and nice location

Perfect stay. The room/ bathroom was top of the scale. Parking just nearby. One of the best stays for sure, highly recommended.

Good location if you want to hike around Stavanger Not in the middle of the city but if you have car then this location will work best for you. Free parking , decent break fast and close enough to the town
