Almost $400 a night, and there were six parking spots outside the hotel. All other guests have to pay $20 a night for valet parking, or park in the parking lot, which was literally melting and had a foot of water in it to walk through The two blocks back to the hotel. There’s no hot tub!? oh, but there’s a sauna, but you need a reservation to use it and none were available during my two day stay. Are you serious! What $400 a night hotel at a ski area does not have a hot tub or a heated pool. I thought it might be a result of difficulty servicing the hot tub at this location, only to look at my window and see that every condo in the village has a hot tub on their deck! Dinner, I had to wait a half an hour for a space to open, even though there were empty tables all over the restaurant that they were not willing to see because they had reservations coming up in the next half hour or 45 minutes. Dining is extremely limited here, and you’re going to force people to find another option! Unbelievable. I could go on and on about how disappointed I am, but I digress. I will just simply never stay here again. I could have booked a less expensive room with a hot tub, but decided to treat myself to stay at one of the most overpriced ski and ski out properties I have ever seen in my life.

BEWARE, NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN! My wife and I had an absolutely horrible stay at the Josie over Valentine's Day. We were here for a ski trip and checked into a one bedroom suite for 4 nights. The bathtub did not work our first night so we called the front desk and they said they would have maintenance look at it. No one ever came, and it still did not work the 2nd day. We again called and the same thing. They said maintenance would come fix it but no one ever came. The 3rd day it still did not work and we again called maintenance. Surprise, no one ever came. We also did not receive housekeeping on our first night. The Saunas do not work so don't waste your time booking them. The stay was so bad we checked out early and moved to a different hotel. Worst of all, the Josie didnt even give a refund for the night we didnt use despite being in a broken room with broken amenities. Ruined our Valentine's Day.

Wonderful slope-side accommodations, beautiful view of the mountains, good, food, and relatively reasonable prices given what is on offer.

Extremely expensive for what you get. While the location is good, parking is terrible, staff is only okay and food is mediocre, at best.

This place is excellent for the avid skier. It’s right next to the lift and the ski valet makes going skiing effortless. Room and included full breakfast was great and service was excellent. I will come back again.

This is a great slopeside hotel. Skis and boots are kept for you and are conveniently located. So easy to put boots and skis on and ski away. Nice saunas.

The people were great! Lulu our housekeeper kept our place tidy. Ron kept it functioning and Joe kept us fed. The folks doing ski valet are the best. The front desk worked hard for us and we appreciated everyone. The room was very warm with no air circulation.

The Josie delivered luxury and convenience. Everything was top-notch. From the service, the room, the dining, and especially the location - everything was well thought-out. My 1 gripe is that there is no hot tub. If you ski, you know that skiing and hot tubbing go hand in hand. They have 2 barrel saunas, which I suspect are to account for not having a hot tub. But the saunas aren't a 1 to 1 substitution for a hot tub. With a hotel that is so luxurious, I would expect a couple hot tubs with a mountain view.

Staff was very attentive and paid attention to every detail to make our stay exceptional! The front desk staff and ski concierge were especially kind and accommodating. Best place to stay near Rossland and on Red Moutain!
