The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming however I feel I need to leave this review. The staff work hard however I feel the property lets itself down. It feels that money has not been spent on the hotel and the produce delivered at breakfast seemed low quality. The property has so much to offer especially with the 400 year anniversary on the horizon. It would be lovely to see this hotel flourish with updating. It is in a perfect location to visit Pembrokeshire and the staff are amazing and sadly I cannot be positive about the comfort and cleanliness.

Comfortable, quiets and spacious rooms. Very welcoming & cheerful, helpful staff. The Mariner's is perfectly placed to explore the town on foot. I don't normally have an evening meal when staying at The Mariner's but i did on this occasion and it was very good and piping hot.

I have lost count of the number of times i have stayed at The Mariner's over the past two years ( plus previous occasions). I love staying there. Haverfordwest is my home town and staying at The Mariner's is a highlight of any home visit. It's always a disappointment if they ate unable to accommodate me. Rooms are spacious & warm with generous ensuite bathrooms (even in the single rooms). The beds are comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent and piping hot. Staff are warm, friendly & welcoming.

As a constant traveller, I really prefer these older hotels with their big rooms and spacious bathrooms. Lovely staff, from reception to the restaurant and bar staff. Great home made steak and ale pie for dinner. Room was brightly lit, a big desk for working, lots of sockets and great WiFi. Thank you all.

I have stayed at The Mariner's on many occasions over the past 2 years and several previous to that (stretching back 12 to 15 years. I have NEVER been disappointed with any aspect of my stay. The hotel has recently changed hands and i sincerely hope that the new owner (who i met briefly this morning) doesn't make any significant changes. The rooms are generous in size as are the en suites. The in room tea & coffee are generously replenished each day and the staff are extremely pleasant, friendly & helpful. .

I can honestly say we have never experienced a warmer welcome anywhere we have stayed, and we travel a lot. The staff were so helpful and seemed genuinely interested in their guests. The dinner options were delicious and very plentiful! The rooms were simple but comfortable and clean. Great place, we're so happy we chose this venue!

I have stayed at The Mariner's on many occasions, particularly over the past few months. Safe to say that it is my first choice when looking to stay in Haverfordwest. Comfortable, friends and a really nice breakfast and at a very, very reasonable price. Love staying here.

This is a very old building and the condition reflects this. But it is well maintained and I love that its a bit creaky and shows the history of this distinguished establishment. Staff were very professional and welcoming and the food yesterday evening was a relief after a long day that I didn't have to leave to find something elsewhere. Breakfast (Full Welsh - vegetarian) was massive and kept me going all day

The hotel was easy to find, and the service was really good went the extra mile. Location central to town centre walking distance to shop, but peaceful location. Really big room, could have done with a bigger bed. Overall a very great.

I'm probably biased but i have always loved this property. Have stayed there a few times over the years (twice in the past 6 weeks) Service is warm & friendly. Breakfast is lovely and i doubt you'll find any hotel room with such a generous bathroom in terms of size. Dig friendly too!
