Very nice and clean and front desk person was great

My husband and I took our two youngest kids to Wildwood for the first time for 4 nights/5 days and we wanted to pick a place with a nostalgic feel to when we were kids in the 90’s. The Aztec hit the mark perfectly! It isn’t anything wildly fancy, but it’s clean, safe, has your basic necessities, and is very charming. If you’re looking for all the bells and whistles, this isn’t where you want to stay, but if you’re looking for a laidback beach trip you’re hitting the nail perfectly on the head with this place! The room was well maintained and clean; the perfect size for our family. Having said that, I think once our kids are older it’d be an incredibly tight fit for the four of us. But for younger kids and a family looking for a cute, well priced motel that’s one block from the beach and located super close to a tasty ice cream shop, this place is perfect!

The gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful when we raised concerns however, there were multiple things that did not work - outlets, lamp (which they immediately replaced when it was brought to their attention), the initial room we were given was filthy - the floor was not mopped, the sheets were used as evidenced by stains left on them from the previous inhabitants, and the tub and shower curtain were visibly dirty and smelled so badly. When brought to the attention of the gentlemen at the front desk, we were given our option of the three rooms that were available. There was no issue that was not taken care of immediately. They could just use to maintain the rooms better and pay attention to cleanliness and that everything is functioning. Little details matter...

Okay for a bed and shower for the night. Some updates have been made, needs more. High price for few amenities. No coffee machine.

A place to lay your head.

Suprise security deposit and fees after the room was booked. The deposit is fine, it’s just that we would have liked to know.

It’s clean, comfy, and great for the price.

I liked the surrounding and quietness of the area. since it was all the stores were close to me.

Staff was friendly and very helpful! The rooms were really nice. I love that there is no carpet and it is tile flooring. The bathroom is small but does what it is intended for. I would stay here again if available.

Sunny was very nice. He explained everything we needed to know. We didnt realize we were the only customers in the whole motel, so that was scary. I forgot to tell Sunny the lock on rm 111's door needs to be fixed. The sheets had a few stains, but were clean, but it still was making me feel a bit gross. The lobby had a real bad odor and I think it was coming from the cat on the wall.

Room had ants. No maid service the entire week. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Had to go down to lobby for fresh towels due to lack of house cleaning services.

This is an older motel. Very clean and a great location. Great for a night or two and prices are wonderful. Just not super updated. But very clean

Good stay

Positive s: Front desk check in was friendly and easy. Location was perfect. Close to beach and boardwalk. Nice water pressure in our shower. Negatives: Electrical outlets not up to code and loose. Both lampshades in our room were broken. No one cleaned our room. Room needs tlc..painting and updating. We were on first floor and could hear every movement above us.
