They always make it easy to come and go

Dorado Gold Bogotá hotel will not follow their own policies. I booked by error, and contacted Hotels.com for refund of 50% as per the property policy as shown in Hotels.com. They contacted the property and denied the refund unilaterally, “as their discretion”, stating a different policy than the one Hotels.com currently advertise in their property website (see picture attached). That is shady to say the least. Expedia was the first company I ever used for reservations back in the 90s/early 2000s. What really hurt me was that Hotels.com did not owned to their words. I assume now that as a customer, I’m not their priority, and they won’t protect me. As a frequent constant traveler, I have choices. I will have to take my business somewhere else.

I always stay here when I'm in Bogota. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, and the restaurant is good.

El hotel estaba chévere pero no tiene logísticas para cuando se va el agua o la luz y fue bien difícil estar allá dos días sin agua

El hotel está muy bien ubicado en una área céntrica muy serca a todo recomendación no tienen parqueo por si llegan con su carro otra cosa se va el agua una ves por semana

The staff was great from the beginning to the end and always keeping the whole place organized

This was the worst room I could possibly imagine to have booked. The room only has a window that goes to the indoor hallway, no air conditioning or fan…no fresh air. The bedsheets were filthy, old dirty walls. As soon as I was the room I took a taxi to another hotel and forfeited the money I paid for this stay.

I didn't like the false information about the property, it wasn't even close to the description on the site. I had a second reservation for a later day and I was so disappointed that I tried to cancel, but to my surprize no refunds nor help was received. I think this is false advertisement, very unhappy.

No hot water
