Upon arrival in my room the smell that greeted me was unbearable. It was coming from the drains and the whole room smelt awful. When shown the only other available room which was adjacent to my room, that room smelt also badly of drains. Thankfully Aiden was very helpful and allowed me to move to a flat in the hypnos residences which was wonderful and much preferable to the hotel. When going back to the hotel for breakfast, I had to wait 25 minutes for an omelette and a cup of coffee and the omelette was not edible. It was worse than a child could make. I left the omelette and left the hotel. There is also no parking at the hotel and a loud ball court across the road. Not to mention the balcony from the smelly room looked directly at a wall! I will not spend my money at Hypnos boutique hotel again. The Hypnos residences are far better.

Rooms are clean the hotel is new and the staff are really helpful. The free breakfast is good and the amenities in the room are acceptable

Friendly staff

Room was very big by any standard and shower room was great as well, with good. The team were very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the room lack basic kettle for water tea, and I did found the hotel surrounding area to be rather dark and lifeless (a bit scarry to wander outside), although its not the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was nice and simple

The hotel was exactly as published. Clean and welcoming, only 25 rooms, friendly team, nice rooftop bar. Plenty of parking options around. It is a residential area though and was not cheap compared to the product, but i was happy with the stay. Highly recommended

We recently had a 1 night stay at the Hypnos Boutique Hotel with my wife and we were both wonderfully surprised at just how modern and clean the hotel room was. It was spacious with lots of light. The selection of breakfast is amazing. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel is nice, conveniently located, breakfast is nice, a la carte, not a buffet. Breakfast staff was very nice. Check in wasn’t smooth as there was nobody at the front desk when I was checking in around 8pm. I had to call the hotel to get somebody to come to the front to check me in. Everything else was great.

Great breakfast

The room we had was a good size and very comfortable. The bed, bathroom and shower were excellent. Breakfast was à la carte and delicious. But the main assets of this property were the individual staff members, who were very friendly and helpful. In particular, Aidan, the night desk clerk, was great fun to talk to, and gave us at least three great restaurant recommendations.

Our one night stay, was just as expected. The A La Carte Breakfastvwas a great idea and quality of food, selection and service.

Very friendly and efficient staff and a tastefully decorated hotel. Room was immaculately clean and well-stocked with toiletries and minibar/snacks, and the breakfast/drinks in the rooftop bar were tasty and well-priced. High recommendation.

Late booking due to being let down by different company, found the hotel was charming, very comfortable, modern and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Nice hotel

The good: The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful. Breakfast area and the breakfast itself are also quite nice. The hotel and the rooms are new and well - designed. The bad: Even though I booked the room with the option to 'pay at the property', hotel charger (not pre-authorized) my credit card. This led to additional costs on my side, as I was to be charged extra by my bank for both currency exchange, as well as for doing it on the weekend. To add insult to injury, hotel charged the money instead of pre-authorizing the card which in my opinion is incompetent for a hotel. The ugly: there was a cacaroach at the reception once, but this can be expected in this climate given that often the doors to the parking area are left wide open (while the AC is running btw, not very eco-friendly). I tried uploading the photo, but the hotels.com app does not work properly on my phone for some reason.
