When we arrived there was a storm happening and it was nighttime. When GPS takes you to the general area, there are no clear signs of where to go so we turned to the right entrance and apparently that was an entrance to the country club. The guard didn’t know what I was talking about when I asked for the hotel and couldn’t give me directions- then he asked another guard who immediately let us know where to go for accommodations at the villa. We drove to the place he told us and I walked in (by now there was a big puddle of water at the entrance). I waited for about 15 minutes at what looked to be the lobby when I finally saw someone cleaning and asked for help. He apologized and said he would call the people from the Villa to come get us - we were 7 people! The man that came was extremely friendly and explained to me that the villas were located behind the area we were in (which was the club house) and we had to walk to it and would have to wait for the storm to pass. By now I was thinking what did I do? Where did I rent? What is this? I didn’t like the idea of having to walk to our room in the rain! Anyways we were starving so the man let us know where to find some amazing tacos off site, and when we returned the rain had stopped. They were waiting for us at the door to walk us to our room. Let me tell you it was sure worth the wait - the room was amazing!!! It was not your normal hotel room it was a suite, and for the price, much more than what we expected!!!
