Lovely period property, good decor, clean. Larger than it appears in photos. On a busy intersection with passing traffic. Ground floor has a lovely pub with live music. Rooms are above this so chose higher floor for less noisy rooms. Bed very comfy and linen good. Room very comfy. Bathroom good size with great shower. Restaurant good for casual dining. No breakfast choices but some cafes and 7-11 nearby. We'd have preferred to have had breakfast on site. Biggest negative is due to its location, there's no nearby parking. We managed to find something nearby by fluke but it could prove an awkward factor for others.

This hotel exceeded our expectations, the wonderful greeting at reception and being personally escorted to our room was a truly lovely touch. Our room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything. We will definitely be back.

Nice heritage hotel but the bar was very loud on the weekend evenings and the noise carries up to the rooms

Beautiful building. Lovely staff. Boisterous night life in the neighborhood and could hear thrum of music from bar downstairs but never enough to keep us awake. Highly recommend.

In the heart of Fremantle.Very well maintained. Friendly staff. pubs both above and below room but due to thick brick walls the only noise came from the street (and was not an issue).

All staff were amazing, great place to stay and a great spot for a drink on the rooftop bar.

Enjoyed our overnight stay at the National. Good location, lovely staff, thought it was going to be a bit noisy with the hoons in their cars but was ok on a Sunday night. Room was large, bed ok, pillows ok, they need to put a handtowel hook near the basin if you want to improve the bathroom :) Thank you

Close to everything. Clean. Great building!

The property is comfortable and conveniently located in the heart of the town. There are many fantastic options for dining, coffee, ice-cream and shopping on the doorstep of the property. Staff are very helpful. Unfortunately the lift was broken but the staff were only too willing to help with transporting our luggage the three floors to our room. The public areas of the hotel are a little tired but more than functional The rooms are excellent.
