Property is good but the bathrooms are quite small. Breakfast options a bare minimum.Over all an ok stay.

Friendly welcome and the 2 single beds comfortable. Our2 bikes were securely stored in the garage. The only problem was no power to charge the electric bike.

Nice breakfast. Very nice filter coffee. Another thing. There is an English standard, and there is a Nordic standard. I've rated this according to what I take to be an English standard. Using a Nordic standard, the ratings for cleanliness and property conditions would definitely be lower. 2 stars at most, I am sorry to say.

Although Amanda was very welcoming the guest house was very basic, which is okay as it was a budget stay, however we booked for two nights and once we had checked in and stayed one night we were asked if we could move to another room for the second night because they had received a late booking. We understand things happen however we are pensioners with two large bags who are traveling around the UK as tourists. We were put in the attic room and carried our bags up three flights of stairs. The second night we were moved to the lowest level and had to repack our bags and carry them down the stairs again We would have liked to stayed in the first room however she asked us to move and felt a little uncomfortable to say no, however probably should have. The breakfast is very basic and with the TV news channel on throughout in the breakfast room, the ambiance was not relaxing and the news was to loud. Unfortunately not a good experience and although Amanda tries very hard to run a good guest house I would like to see her focus on the simple things that make the difference and a good feel factor

A practical option for travellers with a bus stop 30 seconds from the front door into central Oxford. Very friendly hosts who were always willing to help - for instance, offering us parking vouchers for next-door Lonsdale Road where I parked for two days.

It was convenient, good value and near to shops, restaurants and transport - and surprisingly quiet for a main road. However there were no staff on site except for breakfast, the room was very cramped (it was sold to us as a double but was in fact a triple), the shower was almost impossible to get hot, there was no tea in the tea-making facilities, and the breakfast table having a knife and fork led us to expect a cooked breakfast which was not available. The door, windows and banisters all needed painting and were currently in a very dingy looking dark brown, though they had made a good effort to decorate for Christmas. We would not go there again.

We stayed for one night. It was a great base for going to see a show in Oxford. It was a 35 minutes walk, or you could bus from very close to the property. There were a couple of pubs, and local shops including M and S food. We luckily had use of the parking space outside and the owners asked us straight away if we needed parking. Although the decor was a bit dated, the room was clean and warm. The bed was comfortable, en-suite was ok. Tea and coffee was supplied in the room. Breakfast was good, mainly continental, cereal toast we were also offed a fried egg and there was plenty of tea and coffee, a good range of jam and marmalade. This was really good value for a B and B in Oxford. We would use it again if we needed somewhere to stay.

Fab location - can get bus straight into town outside the guest house! Staff are really friendly and parking onsite was a bonus!

The information provided on the hotels website was not what we were informed when we arrived. Breakfast finished half an hour earlier, and check-out was also 30 mins earlier than stated. There was no shared kitchen as indicated in the pictures, and we didn't see a laundry (though we did not ask). The information states that there is a restaurant - this is not the case. It is straight up a B&B and does not pretend to be more.

Nice family room and good value with breakfast. Some information in listing is inaccurate as check out is 10am not 10.30 and breakfast ended at 9am not 9.30am as advertised for weekends so we weren't able to have any cooked breakfast as we missed it sadly.

The B&B is old and dirty, but it is convenient for transport and shopping.

Being on the 3rd floor wasn't fun, but the owners went out of their way to help us with our luggage, they even helped us all the way down the street where we had to park. Nice place for the price, we'd certainly stay again and recommend it to our friends

I enjoyed my stay, my room and bathroom were clean despite what other reviews were saying. No issues with hot water. Location is well deserved by buses to Oxford and Woodstock.

It is at a pretty convenient location, near multiple buses that goes to the main Oxford city center, and lots of restaurants near by. The room itself is comfy. The issues we had were, the room did not have clean sheets when we checked-in, and there was no one on-site when we arrived. There was a sign on the door to say - call this number, but is hard if you don't have cellular service (overseas visitor)
