Quaint spot in a beautiful village. Lovely location. The hotel didn't quite meet expectations. There was miscommunication about the bed size and the place wasnt as clean as I'd like. Overall was ok.

Lovely little village, secure off road parking lovely room and powerful shower. Staff were very accommodating and breakfast and bar food was spot on. The building and surroundings are kept very well and rooms were warm with fresh milk for teas and coffees provided along with coffee machine in room.

Firstly I would say do not attempt to arrive at the hotel in the dark. The country lanes are unlit, full of potholes and for an American feel like a single lane sidewalk. The hotel has a secure gated car park at the rear which is not sign posted Our room was very clean, wonderfully warm which was appreciated as it was 32f outside. Breakfast was excellent, a sofa and tv area to have coffee, tables to have a choice of cereals, fruits, juices and hot food….GO FOR THE FRIED BREAKFAST IT WAS MASSIVE!

Very comfortable and clean small hotel and our room at the top of the hotel had lovely views over the village and church. Breakfast superb. Shower modern and better than in most chains. Stairs steep and no lift.

Just stayed for the night. Staff very welcoming. Had room 15, lovely view over the small village. Room clean and spacious. Good selection on the breakfast menu. Fresh and well presented. Would stay again.

Absolutely loved my weekend here…. Nice and quiet comfy room with vaulted beamed ceiling, amazing food, the friendliest staff and in a stunning location with some great walks on the doorstep…. Will definitely return and next time with my partner as this was a solo study getaway. Thanks!

Really lovely hotel, with a very attentive host. My room was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the food from the pub, linked to the hotel, was superb. I would love to return here, as the area looked great to explore.

The receptionist was polite, informative, very accommodating and very attentive. 5 star service as good as 5 star hotels. The top floor room was a nice size, had lovely views, a dressing table area and excellent shower room. Enjoyable stay all round

All around gr8 stay

Hotel was a bit difficult to find in the dark but we had a lovely room and having the private car park in the back was a bonus as not sure we would have managed in such a popular place. Staff very friendly we were even shown to our room not just shoved a key in our hand and given room number. Breakfast was excellent and we were given a great choice
