The cleaning was absolutely terrible. I will never visit again; I stayed there for two nights, and there was no cleaning service😡😡😡

As soon as I arrived at Aurora Express I couldn’t wait to review it! Exceptionally aesthetically pleasing (stained glass, plants, view of a valley with brightly colored birds flying around, amazing textiles) and very very clean. The host was super nice and made us a delicious guatemalan breakfast! Will be recommending this place to everyone flying in/out of Guatemala City.

Excellent place to stay just overnight for a next day airplane ride! We were greeted and shown our room when we got there late in the evening, and were given a friendly ride to the airport the next morning. The house is beautiful, but we did not have time in our stay to enjoy the property or try breakfast. The area is very secluded, so it’s not walkable for food and such; you would need to arrange transportation to visit any attraction.

Every thing I can say is excellent about Aurora Express , no complaint at all .The owner very Kind, she help me to be oriented all the time . At the same time,I mention the Staff ( Noemi & Yohana ) both of them are charming making me feel at home. I really appreciate everything .

There is no airport shuttle

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The property itself was spotless and very well maintained. It was quiet and peaceful, which allowed me to rest and relax without any noise or interruptions. Another highlight was the transportation service to the airport — it was punctual, efficient, and made my departure stress‑free. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guatemala.

The place is good, the staff is always available, It is located in a residential area. From the outside is looks like any other house, so it easy to miss the only thing that they should upgrade are the towels; They were old and rough.

The tv remote didn’t have batteries, when I asked the staff, they never did anything to resolve the issue. Also I needed to go out to a restaurant and they told me that I didn’t have access to the place after 9 pm, that I should have known that through a code given by Expedia if I needed to come in later than 9 pm. I wasn’t given a Wi-Fi info. On the positive side, the shuttle is very good and the towels and sheets were very clean! Also breakfast is not included.

I would give this property a better rating but airport shuttle driver was pretty rude. Just because we left our room and showed 3 minutes, yes only three minutes late, he was quick in remine us the fact we were late and therefore he was late and that we had to rush. Giving the fact that on Guatemala everybody is very very late for everything, we find his comments extremely rude. Will not stay nor recoment using this place. Also, kitchen and room we stayed (205) had very small ants everywhere.
