This property has tons of Amsterdam character. It is located within walking distance of Amsterdam Centraal and within the tourist canal areas. The room was comfortable and clean. My favorite part was the owners. They were extremely helpful with travel tips and so nice! We enjoyed this stay immensely.

Very quaint and well sourced. Everything was thought of in detail and made to feel like home. Best location in Amsterdam. Hosts were gracious and accommodating. Loved it! Best place to stay and would again.

You cannot beat this location and the opportunity to stay in a beautiful 300 year home in the heart of Amsterdam. Extremely clean, comfortable, and warm and welcoming hosts. Can’t wait to return!

We were only in Amsterdam for under 24 hours before catching our flight, so we spent most of our time exploring the city and sadly didn't get to spend much time at the hotel. The time we did spend at the hotel was awesome. We were welcomed warmly and our room was ready even though we were a bit early. The room was very spacious compared to other hotels in Amsterdam and was very clean and well-appointed. We had everything we needed and slept really well. I highly recommend this place - it's well-located and full of charm. We will be back. Thank you!

Great location. Wimmo is a charming and helpful host. The bedroom is a decent size with an en suite bathroom. clean and comfortable

Handy loaction about 10 minute walk to the centre, however still quiet and peaceful. Lovely friendly staff, and decent rooms. Stayed with my partner and another couple and we all enjoyed our stay. 4/5 would definitely recommend!

The whole experience was fantastic! The bed was comfortable, nice and warm and very easy to get to from airport! I would stay here again. The stairs are steep so bring small bags!

This is a wonderful place! It is within walking distance to the Amsterdam Centraal, restaurants and many attractions. The host is very thoughtful and friendly, providing snacks and drinks. Very comfortable bed. We had a great time.

My son and I had a lovely stay- the view from the room was amazing- morning red faced parakeets and view of the cot in the garden below really lovely. Loved that the bathroom was upstairs - all fixings really well considered and space well used- loved it

When my friend and I decided to have a trip to Amsterdam the Barangay was the first B & B that popped up on the search, and we are so very happy it did. We have never stayed in such a lovely place, from the reception from Mynor when we arrived later than expected, to the beautiful room ( and gorgeous bathroom with magic toilet with bottom washing bonus, I used it even when I didn't need to!) The room was very clean and comfortable and decorated beautifully and we slept like logs. Watched the world going by while eating the most delicious breakfast delivered to our room. The Barangay is in the perfect spot, close to Centraal Station and to the most picturesque parts of the city. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink close by, we loved it and we're sad to leave. We will be back for sure ❤️

The location of this B&B is perfect. You are in a nice area away from the crowds yet only a 10-20 mins walk from everywhere you want to be. The owners are really helpful and organised some treats for our trip as it was my partners 40th Birthday. Bathroom was lovely and clean along with a very comfortable and quirky room in a traditional Amsterdam home. Would definitely recommend as somewhere a bit different to stay at a reasonable price and great location

A lovely 2-night stay here, it felt very homely and welcoming at the end of a long day of sight-seeing!

Great location. Friendly staff with excellent knowledge about local conditions and attractions. Large rooms with modern bathrooms. Excellent breakfast. Steep, narrow stairs could be an issue for some people. One room has the bathroom up narrow stairs from the bedroom which could be a problem during the night for older people.

The shower left the entire bathroom wet for the entire trip and the room smelled like mildew from the bathroom leaking onto the carpet from previous guests.

Staying at Barangay B&B was the highlight of our vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. You need to be physically fit as the stairways and eclectic nature of the rooms is challenging but that only added to the experience. The breakfast was outstanding. It is very centrally located, has great restaurants right next door on either side and most attractions are within walking distance. More than 5 stars.

Wimmo and Godwin were the perfect hosts.. The room was fantastic. Breakfast was always delicious.The offered excellent suggestions for sights and how to get around. We were very glad the air conditioning worked so well.

Our stay at B&B Barangay was wonderful. The location is perfect. The room was absolutely gorgeous and filled with thoughtful details from the lighting to the wine left for us when we arrived. The room and bathroom are large and filled with perfect amenities. The view to the garden in the back was green and beautiful. We were welcomed by Sharon and she was very friendly and helpful. We met Wimmo on our second day and he was also so gracious and welcoming. On our last morning we had to catch an early train so they made sandwiches for our travel and left them in the fridge in our room along with fruit, yogurt and other goodies. Everything was fabulous!

It was a great stay at a great bed and breakfast! Spectacular service and very charming building. Would recommend to anyone going to Amsterdam. P.S. breakfast was awesome!

Warmest welcome Have us knowledge on the area with what tours and attractions we could visit, emergency numbers and highlighted map of the area. Big clean lovely room with gift hamper including wine and treats. Beautiful breakfast served to the room every morning time of your choice. Room had coffee machines and little thoughtful extras. Walking distance to “main” strip. Will definitely stay again and recommend to everyone. Thank you for a lovely stay.
