Note that there are stairs to climb.
There is no mini fridge.
There is no ice machine, but the neoghbouring liquor store was kind to provide us with a bucket of ice when asked.
Morning shower was lukewarm.
There is no window screen, so if you like fresh air (as we do) you take your chances with bugs.
The paint is peeling, and the flooring has seen better days.
There were definitely smokers in our section of the hotel.
The room was clean, our bed was comfortable. We enjoyed a great sleep.
We got coffee to go from the café (we were told by locals that the food is great, and there was already a lineup when they opened), and it hit the spot. Refills were included!
All in all, it was adequate for our one night needs, but I hope more is invested in bringing and keeping a charming, historical hotel viable.
