Modern, clean and comfortable hotel located next to a convenient Marston's pub. Reception desk is inside the pub, a quick word with the bar staff and someone came to check me in so no issues as reported in other reviews. Air con in room was a major bonus as stayed on a very hot day. Meals in the pub (dinner and optional breakfast) were excellent.

Great location for our visit to family. Lots of take out options, and hardly to Spalding and the outlets. Our second visit to this hotel. We will be back again.

Basically an overnight stay in the area which appears sparse in terms of quality hotels. Paid £111 for a room only with the quality being on a par with travel lodge at more than double the price. Food at the Tulip Queen was over priced and poor quality, which saw me pay £29 for a very small starter, cheese burger and a cask ale. Shocking really. I won't be booking again. Room was small and very basic, very uncomfortable as well as the two bags of cement portraying to be pillows. Avoid if you can

Very comfortable bed, clean room We stayed for 2 nights. At check-in, we did not notice the sign in reception that you need to ask for a room refresh (before noon) We needed clean cups, glasses, tbags, but we asked in the pub on the second day and all were provided. The only downside is there isn’t really anywhere in the bathroom to dry towel on a two night stay, so maybe best to ask for refresh Excellent value for money

Perfect location! Friendly, helpful staff. Good quiet sleep! Room clean! Basic but what we needed. Breakfast was good.

Rooms kept spotless, bedlinen and towels wonderful.Cannot fault. Only ate once in the restaurant at evening meal. Carvery bit disappointed the Turkey was lovely but veggies needed replenishing and were cold also no gravy. Perhaps we should have waited for it to be refreshed. Will know next time. It seems very popular.

Bar was very expensive only used it once. Hotel was same as a Travelodge

It says breakfast from 7am daily but it is actually from 8am. We questioned it at check in as we had paid extra for breakfast and 8am was to late for us and they said they would get back to us. I left an email address with them but they never did contact me. I have raised it with hotels.com and they say they have changed the times on the site but it still says 7am.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, nothing to much of a bother. Quiet, comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent parking and local services

This was our 3rd stay here and every time has been perfect. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Well looked after hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Easy check in and out.

Friendly welcome, check-in desk in an awkward place, feel like your in the way of the bar staff or customers queuing the bar. Causing an obstruction with suitcases for someone wherever you stand. Room spacious and clean, plenty of tea, cofee milk etc provided. Had dinner, which was good and even had a go at the quiz! Breakfast the following morning was ok. There seemed to be some sort of staff meeting going on at one part of the dining room, and so there wasnt much instruction on what to do with regards helping yourself to tea or coffee etc, or care taken to provide much of a service, ordered at the bar, i had an omelette and it tasted a bit burnt in places. Server looked like she was the only one working and hence why maybe she didnt look happy to be there, but she wasnt rude at least.

Pleasantly surprised - modern and clean. Had evening meal in restaurant which was very good, Excellent choice for breakfast - food hot and well cooked. Will definitely stay here again if accommodation needed in the area,
