Pleasant enough hotel. A twenty minute walk into the nearest town situated in an industrial site next to a McDonalds. The rooms are pleasant, the breakfast was (I am told) excellent for the meat eaters, but there is a very limited provision for veggies. An OK place. . An OK place.

Staff brilliant, friendly and professional. Stayed in room 121 which is one of the biggest rooms we have stayed in, in England.

Spacious rooms and affordable meals.

Nobody on reception so had to use online check in. Ok but no obvious sign to rooms. Wi-Fi did not reach our room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Handy for town and further afield.

Large room with plenty of space. Comfy bed and pillows.

Worst example of computer says no, kitchen closed etc. Asked specifically for room with walk in shower, given room with bath. Ordered dinner at 2000 from restricted menu, starter, 3 prawns, arrived at 2046. Unable to order dessert, kitchen closed. Room directly beside A1 trunk road, very noisy.

Very good for getting on to A1. Easy for lots to do if you are interested in history and the lovely beaches.Staff friendly and helpful but not enough of them as in most places now.

I aplaud the hotel being dog friendly but I think they shoud be in a seperate section of the restraunt. Evening menu could do with being more comprehensive, breakfast ok but always cold. Also did'nt know it was on an industrial esstate.

Clean and a convenient stopover on our journey to Scotland

After visiting Alnwick Castle I stop here for the night. It’s a beautiful little Inn that has seen some recent renovations. The staff were friendly and super accommodating. The room was clean, and the bed super comfortable. The added perk was being able to head down for food that evening and in the morning. I was very happy with my stay.

Excellent location for us ,staff so friendly and helpful and welcoming nothing a problem for them ,unfortunately didn’t get names but highly recommended,was really busy on Friday and Saturday but staff had everything under control ,ran like clockwork ,and also got free drinks as complimentary ,food was lovely with a nice varied menu to suit everyone I would say . Will stay here again .

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. The bed was comfortable. The children's play area was fantastic for my great nephew.

The bed was joined together so one was higher than the other so it was uncomfortable.We went to eat on the evening limited menu needed more choice,no vegetables on the menu all chips with one choice of mash.We chose the burger because it had coleslaw but when it came out it tasted off ,we asked a member of staff who said it was made with butter milk,however we noticed after that the food was coming out with a salad instead.So we can only presume that the coleslaw was off..

Pillows and beds horrible....ok otherwise

Nice hotel, good food and service. The hotel is out of town in an industrial area.
