The hotel was located in a great spot in the city with easy access to multiple attractions and restaurants.

Wonderful staff, great location great sauna and fitness area

We loved the location and restaurant- the accommodations were adequate but the room was war and we couldn’t change the temperature. Also the bathroom was a little tight and there was limited area to store things

This couldn’t be better situated next to walking area with shops and restaurants -and across the plaza from the central train station. The plaza was very lively with a festival, concerts and impromptu performers. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Great service in all areas- from the room service staff, the restaurant and bar staff and reception. A very nice experience all-around and would highly recommend.

The hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see and the activities we planned. The breakfast was delicious. There was always a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Amerikalinjen for your stay in Oslo.

All the staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately there was a hospitality strike ongoing in Norway during our stay so there was only breakfast available and then sandwiches later in the day. The food was still amazing though so looking forward to visiting again when they are back to full service. Lovely hotel with good facilities. Shame there is no pool but you can’t have everything.

We loved this hotel. The room was lovely, though a little warm as we couldn’t get the temperature control to work. Perfectly located close to train station, museums and shops. Breakfast was amazing, we stayed in 4 hotels in Norway during our trip and this was our favourite.

A beautiful hotel in a very central location. All the staff are so lovely and can’t do enough to help. Breakfast was great, the rooms are spotless and classy, the gym and sauna are ideal and the jazz night was an added bonus! The only thing I would say is that the rooms at the front are a little noisy due to the close proximity of the train station but that’s the trade off for the handy location - and the ones at the back are perfectly peaceful!

A really beautiful hotel with great facilities and amazing service. Breakfast was excellent. We also made the most of the cocktail bar and restaurant in the evening. You couldn’t get a more central location!

Very nice hotel within 2 blocks of the train station. It made it handy to get to the airport. The bathroom was wonderful, as was our room overlooking the plaza. Great food.

We had a great stay! The room and gym were both very clean, the staff was extremely pleasant, and the complimentary breakfast was really good. Great location next to the main station and with easy access to the city/region. Friendly welcome, lovely room, excellent breakfast and good meals. Overall excellent and would be very happy to return.
