I really like that hotel

Super muy bonito

Everything you need in one place. Clean rooms, great service. Bar staff was amazing (moises). They just need better wifi but then maybe it was a blessing to not be connected.

My family and i absolutely loved this property. Such a dream vacation, comfortable stay, and very relaxing 🙌

Despite an initial issue during check-in (was charged in USD at a very unfavourable rate instead of Pesos as noted by Expedia) the Hotel management made things right in the end - Overall really nice stay, making Bacalar one of the highlights of the Mexico trip

From the moment we walked in we felt the calmness and beauty of Hotel Carolina. We felt so welcomed. I spent HOURS researching the best hotel in Bacalar, and this was absolutely perfect! Beautiful rooms and grounds. My young boys (6 and 8) loved the pool and the warm lagoon waters. Breakfast was stunning sitting on the deck. We enjoyed sitting in the sun looking over the waters on the pier/beach chairs, and the swings in the water make for perfect pictures. Kayaks were available for adventures (close to a cenote for exploring!). We would love to stay again.

Hotel Carolina ..... Wish we didn't have to leave. If you're looking for accommodations close central and on the water this is your place ! A boutique style resort with amazing staff! From the moment we stepped onto the grounds you could tell the staff enjoyed their jobs and took great pride in what the hotel has to offer their guests. The staffs attention to detail ensuring customers needs were met was truly appreciated! Shout out to Juan !! There is an onsite bar and restaurant with very reasonable prices! Don't forget to make use of the complimentary kayaks and paddle boards that are available for their guests. When we return to Bacalar, Carolina will be at the top of our list to say at.

Pretty property, great friendly staff, beautiful setting on the lagoon and close enough to town to walk in

Spent 3 nights here to experience the area. Room very comfortable different pillows would be good. Chairs on deck not comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were good. Service slow at times but staff always smiling and friendly.

Loved it! rooms are comfortable, AC units we never ran out of hot water. Staff was great.

The hotel was lovely very quiet and relaxing with a great access to the lagoon. Breakfast was very good and lunch/dinner menu was just ok, nothing too exciting so who mostly went in town for dinners. The hotel located beast the city center with lots of restaurants options. Rooms were comfy but sheets need to be replaced as seems quite old and used.

I loved my stay here. It is a lovely hotel, nice view to lo the lagoon. Nice pool and restaurant by the lagoon. The service was really friendly. We used the kayaks and had a lovely stay there. I higly recommend it. Surely will stay again in the future

The staff was excellent, they suggested some great places to dine and affordable options of day activities. They came right to our hotel dock for a day excursion on the lake.
