Pet friendly, Well they have a dog and two cats so yes they love there pets. Stayed a week and room cleaned and bed changed on request. Always pleased to do this straight away. Very friendly couple nothing too much trouble. I had a very relaxing week plane spotting. All rooms 3 on ground floor and breakfast kitchin. Upstairs rooftop outside view of planes landing and possible to go up two more levels. Good sitting area plus small cafe area. I had evening meal. Snacks drinks all served there.

The owners were extremely welcoming and the room was very clean and well insulated from Airport noise, breakfast choice good.The only minus was the shower it a very small square cubicle with shower curtain that just got in way.

I stayed here on business. The location next to the airport was perfect for my requirement and the hosts are most welcoming and accommodating. The property is spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Food is available and cooked to order from a menu that offers something fo all tastes from a snack to full meal. There is a good selection of breakfast fare to self serve in the morning with avarious cold and hot drinks to choose. I highly recommend this guest house, especially if you like peace and quiet.

We booked Rickaty Lodge due to a change in our flight details which meant an additional day in Gran Canaria. The hosts are friendly and the room very clean. We were able to get a transfer form the Lodge to our hotel in Maspalomas with one of the hosts which was very comfortable and convenient.

It’s a lovely place to stay, close to the airport. Aviation enthusiasts will love it, you can watch the planes from the rooftop terrace. There’s a small bar, and dinner is also available. The new owners are very friendly and accommodating, and will provide airport transfers on request. The rooms are functional and very clean. I wish the new owners every success with their new venture.

Richard and Katy are very friendly and helpful owners. My room was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was very good. The rooftop terrace is very good location for watching aircraft. An excellent bed and breakfast and my friend and I agreed that we would definitely stay again.

Nice spacious clean room. Easy to get to by bus from the airport. Not many amenities in the immediate area but Carrizal is a 10 minute walk. It’s a small town not a tourist area so prices are keen and there are lots of bars etc. As it’s more traditional restaurants open at 19:30. Worth a visit. The hosts are welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was plentiful. Would return. M

Owner was waiting for me at the airport. Cooked a meal for me as soon as we arrived. V comfortable bed. DIY breakfast. No frills but excellent for a stopover or a few days stay.

Woke up to cockroaches running around the bathroom and cockroaches running out of my shoes when I went to put them on!

Had an excellent two night stay. Richard was a great host which helped enhance the stay. Great place for watching the aircraft but still remarkably quiet.

Perfect in every way. Richard and Katy went above and beyond my expectations in looking after me. Spotless clean room, great breakfast, super-efficient transfers - to and from the airport and a pick up from the local beach - good evening meal and the bar / roof terrace is a great place to unwind. No hesitations at all in strongly recommending Rickaty Lodge.
