Thanks for a pleasant stay during a musical festival. The staff were accommodating and location is close to numerous Newmarket food, wine, and shop options.

Great location, easy to access, cleanliness is not their highest priority.

Nice big rooms, clean and tidy with plenty of light during the day. Quiet and good quality blockout curtains at night. Only complaints that the bed was really hard. I like a firm bed, but this was next level. Could do with a topper pad

The grounds were very unkept and in poor condition. The smell from the restaurant was not nice. An outside door to the carpark was jammed. But the room was good and very clean and comfortable. Face cloths and an extra towel would have been nice. Also we had a missing curtain. The location was perfect. If you want a clean room in a good location, then this is ok in a budget. You just have to turn a blind eye to everything else.

Good value for money and can walk into Newmarket.

No tea bags or toilet paper, no restaurant and services as described, when someone else changed tv channel ours changed too. Overall tjo good for cost of room

Great room size and very comfortable. Great location to Newmarket the motorway etc.

Exterior of the property needs some work. Cannot store old mattresses in the car paul. No soap in bathroom. No face wash cloth.

Absolutely love this hotel and highly recommend. Aircon was cooling our room so quick and best sleep with the black out curtains got me sleeping for hours. Very affordable

Value for money was excellent. Very handy position. Plenty of parking. An elevator was a bonus. Comfortable bed. No cutlery or dishes but we’re supplied when requested. Very pleased and would recommend.

Great location. Very tired and in need of update. None of the cutlery, dining sets or glasses matched Shower would not close Polite and helpful staff

Could have some cutlery & more than one coffee cup and only 1 tea cup. Didn’t have any glasses or face clothes either. Wouldn't take a lot to be done to lift their star rating. Why weren’t the pillowcases changed between guests ? Place has so much potential. Being managed/run by Asians doesn’t help as they don’t really know what Kiwis expect or want.

The room was not clean. The floor still have rubbish 。 the duvet cover was not clean and gave yellow mark. Only one bin at bathroom and no bin at living room. Before check out time (around 9am) the staff knock our room door said they need cleaning. It is ridiculous. No service comments at all.

Great spot, quiet hotel with modern vibe and comfy bed. Would have been 5 stars had the smoke stop doors not been held open with wedges. Neither safe nor secure as before 5pm anyone could have come up the stairs to the first floor.

Smelly dumpster outside that was leaking. Manager of property accused our friends of tampering with the fire alarm when they didn’t touch it. Room service didn’t make our bed properly - just pulled the duvet over top the sheet that was still bundled. Courtyard untidy and communal kitchen untidy

Good central location with adequate parking. The room was tidy enough. Although the room came with a toaster and microwave, there were no utensils or plates in the room. There is a shared kitchen though. We found empty whiskey cans in the bedside drawers from previous guests. The room provided what we needed at an affordable price.
