I recently stayed here from 23 to 26 February 2026 for a ski trip and was surprised to find that our room lacked a private showering area, especially given this is one of the most expensive hotels in Myoko. Instead, the shower facilities are shared with other guests, which was quite unexpected. Additionally, the staff were not very friendly and often unhelpful. When we attempted to find and use the hotel’s microwave to reheat our food—an option mentioned in their brochure—a staff member simply told us “no” without any further explanation. Given this experience, I would not choose to stay here again and am unable to recommend it to others.

My husband and I stayed for 10 days at the beginning of March. What was by far the best part of our stay was the beautiful interaction with the staff. From the front desk, to the restaurant, coffee bar staff to the cleaners ... they were all so lovely. We changed rooms several times as we failed to book the Suite Room from the beginning. Whilst the Twin Room was adequate, and we used the Onsen for our daily bathing, the Suite Room was outstanding ... and we spent 5 of our 10 days in that room, with private bathroom. If you can afford, this is the one! Being very private people, we loved not having crowds outside our door. Staff were wonderful in organising shuttles for us to go to ski stations and also for me to visit a local masseuse. Breakfast & dinner was always fresh and with plenty of variety ... lots of sashimi & miso soup for me, with hubby always choosing seafood. Aussies love their coffee, and I have to say your barista made a wonderful brew, thank you. On our last day I will never forget our lovely restaurant gentleman helping us with our suitcase, and giving us both the deepest bow from the foyer as we left. And a huge thank you for the gift of our pyjamas ... we are wearing them every day here in Perth. We hope to come back some day!

We stayed for one night in May. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, and the restaurant food was excellent. The female front desk staff member with a ribbon in her hair was especially kind and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for helping make our vacation so memorable.

Our first nite of arrival the street was nightmare because of the snowstorm! I cant drove my car from the uphill to the hotel... I had to call the hotel to pick me up at downtown (7eleven store)... but the hotel manager decided to take my luggage in his car and asked me to drove my car to follow him! Thanks a lot! The hotel was very nice! We spent a lot time at the hotel! The room was very comfortable and clean! The dinner was delicious, the seafood was very fresh and the local food was amazing! The onsen was very nice too! But if the hotel can have a massage chair and fresh milk machine will be much more better! Keep going! We will be back!

Wonderful hotel with kind hospitality. We encountered a snowstorm and our hotel could not make it out of the hotel to the slopes - the hotel took care of our needs and provided shuttles for us. The dinner spread didn’t have a lot of variety but the quality of the food was excellent with unlimited fresh sashimi. Onsen was lovely, well-kept with great amenities and the rooms were comfortable. What really stood apart for me was the warmth and hospitality of the staff - there isn’t much to do in Myoko apart from snowboarding and the hotel felt like home to us. I will miss the staff whom we had wonderful conversations with and will surely be back next year!
