The hotel is recently completely renovated so everything is very new! The room is average size and nothing too special. We stayed at a time when the price was fairly reasonable but in the summer it’s crazy expensive and I personally wouldn’t pay that much. I’m sure the rooftop bar would be cool in the summer. The breakfast was very good but the gourmet coffee is a machine

Affordable and modern. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Parking was challenging as the hotel acknowledges this ahead of time. Staff were readily available.

Our stay at The Earl was great. It was within walking distance of downtown Charlevoix with many good restaurants near by. The only areas that could be improved are parking and the pillows in the rooms. Parking is tight and limited and the pillows felt wore out. Other than that, I highly recommend the Earl!

Nice hotel. Only a couple of issues. Heating did not work properly, and it was either freezing cold or boiling hot. Reported to the staff a couple of times but no resolution. Also, Wi-Fi kept disconnecting after a while for no reason. Those were minor points though. We liked the hotel overall.

Gave 3 stars on the "are around" part due to the parking area not being plowed all weekend. Made it really hard to maneuver in and out of the parking area and the spots. Everything else was great and i would recoment this to anyone that can stay.

This hotel was amazing. A hip and relaxing atmosphere that hits all the key points. This hotel is truely a very unique build that reminds me of the architecture of sweden, only bigger. The windows are all situated in such a way that the your door faces outwards. Which in my own opinion is a really authentically pleasing design choice. A bit hard to explain with words but hopefully the pictures can fill in the gaps. Upon being greeted at the hotel you enter the lobby through a cozy small setting with a seating area, fire, bar and cocktail area and a few tv screens. If you are a bourbon lover as I am theyve got tou covered with the basics and a few more Blantons and Rock Hill Farms included. This hotel is dog friendly and we were greeted by a few of the furry guests in the lobby upon checking in. I understand that not everyone is a animal lover so I will make a point of mentioning that I did not botice any smells or excess amounts of fur around the building as can be said of perhaps some other hotels. The upkeep is bery well maintained at this hotel. Our room was a king room (me and my wife) and it was surprisingly spacious. The bedframe has that raw woods aesthetic that I rather enjoy with a European feel platform bed and live edge headboard. A neat touch is the bed has a underlighting feature that can be turned on and off to be used as a nightlight. The bed itself wasnt terrible. Id say however it may be more on the firmer side that I prefer but overall not too bad.

I would hope that the mornings for breakfast would have a more inventory of choices to pick from, Not dried up pastry or a bowl water down fruits. I believe the next time I will stay at Sleep Inn, They offer a breakfast eggs bacon pancakes waffles and so on.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Charlevoix the Beautiful. A warm and cozy hotel on a cold Michigan weekend. Loved it!!!
