I really enjoyed checking in at Grand Serela Setiabudhi. It's strategically located, the rooms are clean, and the service is good. The downside is that the breakfast menu is very limited in variety, and I don't think the additional Rp100,000 per person is worth it. Furthermore, many trays are already empty before 10 am. 😭

I booked the wrong hotel in a different location. I'm in Jakarta, but the hotel is in Bandung. Did the hotel not provide any explanation?

When we arrived, the carpet was damp, the sheets had lots of yellow stains.

1. I chose a room with a bathtub, but after check-in, the room was suddenly changed from a large one to a small one, claiming the booking in the app had changed, even though the email clearly stated the room I had booked. After confirming with the app, the room was still available in the original booking. 2. The room key was very difficult to open. I tried changing it several times at reception, but it still wouldn't work. 3. My complaint was repeatedly passed on to other staff. 4. Breakfast required a waiting list, and the menu was very limited, and some of the food was already sold out. 5. It was awful; there were no positives. I'm commenting like this because of a bad experience staying at a hotel like this. Many budget hotels offer excellent service.

I think seeing the cheap price in the app does not reduce the quality, but sorry I have to convey this for the sake of hotel improvement in the future, sorry I said this hotel is really not ready to operate again, first experience, enter the basement, then check in, then go to the room, because the room was so uncomfortable I left it empty (no show), I even went back to book another hotel, because in my opinion this is bad, the property is very poorly maintained, plus when checking in at 14:10 I was told the check in time there was 15:00, sorry I said as far as I know all hotels check in time is 14:00 and check out time is 12:00 at the latest, and breakfast is also send to the room. I booked a deluxe room, but when I arrived, it was super dirty, with menstrual blood stains on the sheets. I complained and was given a complimentary upgrade to a suite for two days. Thank you. Hopefully, they'll take care of it next time, as it's starting to look dated and full of dust.

I booked during Eid for 2 days, in room 235 the key often had problems, the distance to the lobby was quite far, the receptionist didn't pick up the phone and had to go there, the toilet was flooded with water, the carpet was dirty, the breakfast was incomplete and a lot of it was gone, the food was bad, the playground area was dirty and not suitable for children to play, and many things needed to be repaired.

The hotel was badly damaged. The shower was broken, the hotel phone was broken.

The hotel is old and the atmosphere is a bit creepy. Dirty. Central location. The hotel staff is quite friendly. I booked a twin bed room and the room was quite large. The pillows were too high and uncomfortable. 2 free mineral water bottles were provided. There is an electric kettle. Close to Rumah Mode, close to Setiabudhi supermarket, but there are no places to eat very close, you have to walk quite a distance, and the food is not very varied. The hotel room is not comfortable, there is a lot of dust on the carpet (very unsuitable for me with allergic rhinitis). There are 2 buildings, wing A and B. My room is far from the main lobby front desk, in wing B, I had to take the elevator twice. Breakfast is not very extensive. Fried rice and porridge have no taste. The glasses are dirty, asking the staff to get new ones has to be asked several times. The room interior is damaged and old. There are not many staff. The table and chairs are of an old design. There is no mini fridge in the room. The walls of the room have hairline cracks. There are stains on the bathroom floor, walls, and doors. The bathroom towels smell, as if they have not been used for a long time. The toilet seat looks stained (because it is old). The sink faucet wouldn't shut off properly; it had to be positioned in a certain position to completely shut off the water. There was not enough hot water, and the water volume wasn't strong enough. There was no soap for washing hands in the sink. The amenity kit only included two toothbrushes. I stayed here because of the pool, but it turned out to be a bit intimidating and uncomfortable. The pool was deserted and looked a bit dirty, as if it wasn't used often. The pool is about 1.8m deep. The most annoying thing was that the door to my room wasn't locked when I left. I tried calling the front desk several times, but no one answered. Luckily, I checked before leaving, and the door wouldn't open when I wanted to enter. My family and I had to delay breakfast because we had to take care of the broken door, so I walked to the front desk, which was far from the lobby, to report the damage.

A comfortable hotel in the city center. The rooms are clean, modern, and subtly lit, perfect for relaxing after a business trip. The upstairs pool is also well-maintained. The Wi-Fi is fast, and the reception staff are very professional during check-in and check-out.
