The location is quite strategic, close to the train stations (Purwosari and Solo Balapan), and not too far from the city center. The front is beautiful and tree-filled, and there is a parking area for those driving. Drinking water is provided per room, with only two small 330 ml bottles, so it's best to bring your own. A suggestion for management might be to increase the number of standard 600 ml bottles or provide a shared dispenser. The staff are very friendly and informative.

Rumah Turi remains a lovely concept and a significant part of Solo’s hospitality history. The lush, eco-friendly design creates a wonderful atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. However, the property is showing clear signs of wear. We would advise those with high expectations for room condition to look elsewhere. But for travellers seeking a unique, atmospheric stay at a very fair price, the charm of this pioneering eco-hotel still shines through the patina.

Stayed here for 4 days, and the price was quite affordable. The place is comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the facilities are quite complete, it's clean, and it's close to the station and the city center. There are lots of plants, so it's cool. I'd stay here again if I had the chance.

A great alternative if you're bored or don't like mainstream concrete hotels. It's a quiet place in the middle of a residential area, with a grocery store nearby, but a large mall is only about 200 meters away. The rooms are comfortable and okay. There were some international guests there too. I'd recommend it for two people 🙊

Hotel ambiance is fantastic, very green and serene. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Rooms are simple but spacious. Local TV channels only.

Suitable for those who like natural vibes. Every morning there is artificial rainwater to add to the tranquility. The only minus is the wifi which is not very fast and the outside trash bin. Walk out a little and you will find Paragon Mall, and it is close to everything. Is it because Solo is a small area? Hehe

Superb place to stay. Though there's no breakfast included, we don't mind since we come to Solo to eat anyway. The bed is very comfortable. A lot of greeneries, so it's really refreshing for the eye, and there's a dedicated smoking spot to enjoy it all. The staffs are all very friendly and super helpful. They even helped us out of the car, bringing umbrellas without being asked when it was raining hard. Some group used the place as a meditating place, so you can expect quiet and serene vibe. Definitely will stay here again next time.

We really enjoyed staying at Rumah Turi for 3 days. Peaceful, shady atmosphere, the hotel staff is very kind and friendly. Wuni's room is cool and spacious with large windows. There is a good collection of books to fill your free time. The sound of water adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom is very good. Strategic location, can walk to the BST terminal, Javanese-style dining places (Wedang Pendhopo) and the mall if you need to buy something (Solo Paragon Mall). There is a laundry service by the kilo that can be delivered to the hotel. If I go to Solo, God willing I will stay here again. Maturnuwun, Rumah Turi ☺

Check in & out was smooth, I love that they have smartTV so we can enjoy the YouTube video as well and the room size was perfect for the money we spent. The downside was only there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom floor right after check in
