Very accommodating! Love the location, the breakfast and the staff!

Our stay at Art Commercianti Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is beautiful, with charming decor and a welcoming atmosphere. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The location couldn’t have been better—it’s within walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The breakfast was beyond our expectations. There was an excellent variety of fresh, delicious options, and it was the perfect way to start each day. I highly recommend Art Commercianti Hotel to anyone visiting Bologna. We would definitely stay here again!

One of the best rooms that me and my fiancé have ever stayed in. Staying here in bologna made the trip. The location is awesome

The hotel front desk gentleman was very kind, informational, and professional. The bell boy, on the other hand, seemed completely annoyed to do anything, did not help us treck all of our luggage across cobbled city streets to where our actual hotel room was, and then let us struggle in the building getting our luggage into the tiny elevator and into the room. The room itself was clean and spacious, very modern and eclectic. The shower doesn't drain properly, though. The AC was great- but the fridges were warm. The breakfast was fantastic, as was our check out. I would recommend the hotel find a new luggage attendant because the one they have isn't actually doing anything.

Air conditioning did not work in our room

Although decor was slightly dated, the hotel was wonderful ! (The bathroom seemed newly redone) LOCATION was great , breakfast was abundant and the staff was outstanding Low key and easy- this hotel is a gem

Great location with friendly staff. We stayed in the apartment around the corner from main hotel. Very spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety to choose from. Would highly recommend the location as it’s a 20 minute to the train station walking on basically 1 Main Street.

Perfect location in Bologna, next to Basilica of San Petronio and Piazza Maggiore. Very comfortable room. "Boutique Hotel" had very friendly staff, fantastic breakfasts. Area is quiet despite its location.

This is a very nice hotel with a great breakfast selection/service. Very comfortable stay - no complaints.

Disclaimer - I usually stay at boutique hotels and was coming from one when I arrived in Bologna. Upon arrival I was very nervous. The hotel is very historic so the lobby looks old. The room (I was in a “suite”) while was large and well equipped, was also very historic. With that though, I actually liked the hotel. There are no luxury amenities, but there’s not supposed to be. The staff was friendly, hotel was clean and very well situated. There’s a bar next door so bring ear plugs (common in Italy). The breakfast was excellent! For the price point this hotel was very good and I’d stay here again.

I stayed here for the Bologna children's book fair and it was an absolutely incredible location, so central and above all a beautiful hotel to stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind, the breakfast was gorgeous and the room stunning. So many incredible details and attention to care including 24 desk service. The hotel packed me a breakfast bag for my early 3am flight and booked a taxi for me. I felt very well looked after here which whilst travelling alone felt lovely, highly recommend!

Lovely historical hotel. Beautiful rooms and common areas. It was such a joy to stay and enjoy Bologna. Could not be more central and quiet. Staff were all very nice but a special mention to Michael who was so friendly and fun to chat with. Please do yourself a favor and book this hotel! Nancy and Stephen from Montreal, Canada.
