Excelente servicio, ampliamente recomendable

Historically unique. Mozart at 15 Yrs.played in the main dining room where a fantastic breakfast is served. The decor of the dining room is an outstanding art work. The rooms are ample compared with modern European hotels. The location for the opera, palace, Egyptian museum and Shroud is perfect. Great restaurants all around.if you want history the again is your best choice

Property was in the city center and we were able to walk around to some of the sites.

The claim to fame of this hotel is based on the fact that 15-year old Mozart stayed there for 2 weeks with his father in 1771. Nothing changed much there since (except for plumbing, of course). 3 rooms on each floor facing the street were obviously intended for the important guests and still are furnished accordingly, while other rooms facing inner yard were for the servants, coachmen, maids etc. Hotel serves only standard breakfast in the magnificent ballroom under subdued soundtrack of, or course, Mozart, but there are unlimited number of very good restaurants within 5 min walking distance, including 3 in the same block as the hotel. Location is also very good - 10 min walk to Piazza Castello, the tourist center of Turin, and 20 min walk (or 10 min on a tram 4 or 11) from the train station. Hotel also has a small parking, but reserve it asap) One strange thing was that under pretext of Italian Law we weren't allowed to bring glass glasses from the breakfast room to our room (I plead the 5th amendment for the rest...)

Neat place to stay. Not modern hotel, but comfortable and filled with antiques and history. Great location. The staff were very helpful.

The location is great: right in the centre of Torino but very easy to access by car. I got hotel parking for 20 euro per night. Not cheap but very convenient. The hotel would have a lot of potential as it’s a beautiful historic building. Unfortunately they don’t really make the best out of it: breakfast (in a superb room) is very sad…. Bad coffee, bad croissants…. Bad juices, no real continental options….. our room was very basic but a good mattress, decent bathroom. Wifi not working in the room. Ok for a couple of days , with little effort it could be a real gem

Central hotel with welcoming staff. Wi-fi not as good as on previous visit. Clean comfortable room Beautiful breakfast room and good choice of options.

The Wi-Fi of the floor where I was staying was not connecting and even though I told the reception several times, the reception did not help to solve this problem.

Great location. Nice rooms. God breakfast. Easy walk to shops, dining and attractions.

Centro storico historical hotel and great restaurants and bars in the area

Hotel more than lived up to expectations. Beautiful decor and well maintained throughout with amazing history. Staff are welcoming and efficient. Excellent buffet breakfast with coffee made to order. Centrally situated - walking distance to many local attractions.

If you are a music LOVER and a CLASSICAL MUSIC fun , you must stay in this place and experience the Mozart room

…..booking….not matching the room pictured….. On arrival the room was very cold….. The breakfast ????At Lidl…..you will have a proper breakfast ….embarrassing

Breakfast poor. Bathroom basin shelf too small. Reception helpfull.

.The location is good. Besides, I would move to another hotel in the area. The room is small and cramped. The people are not really nice except ANDRE at the reception. The whole area is under renovation. Everything is noisy. It is not indicated on the website that the place is very inaccessible by car and is in the ZTL area

I stayed at the Dogana for Eurovision, great price considering that. I was pleasantly very surprised it was a historical hotel, Mozart stayed there. More impressed was how big the room was. Inside was quiet, I was greeted very happily, they even managed remember me many times when I would pass lobby. Lots restaurants, scooters, public transportation in immediate surroundings. I would highly recommend it. Very walkabale to all the sites, and even bus station if you decide walk it.

We loved this hotel! We’ll definitely go back!! Beautiful!
